The only way to save the show is to get rid of the orchestral theme song and bring back that screaming lady from the original... Actually the music from new Gen and Voyager were pretty good.

The other thread got me thinking about the stuff I bought off the shelves way back when. RT Cyclone=$35 RT Alphas=$25 RT SDF-1=$20 I also got all of the Destoids both the 7" and 3.5" on clearance. I didn't waste any money on the SD stuff... what a dope. I was saving my money for the Takas and bootlegs when I went to the swap meet. 1/100 = $5. And i got the the ugly small ride armors. All 3 for $10.

Yeah, the VF-17D is suppose to be shorter than the VF-11. But in the pic they are almost the same size. The F-14 was in there because the previous thread asked for a comparison against it IIRC. Besides, the VF-1 is forever going to be compared to the F-14. And the fact that it's in Zero merits it's entry along with the other VFs.

Cosplay threads have the tendency to degenerate sooner or later. Not only do the bad materials outweigh the good, but the enticement to ridicule is far too strong to avoid. Sure there will be constructive critism, but you'd have to swift thru the muck. I'm for ONE cosplay thread, but either it gets policed closely or the mods have to be extra lenient on the trash talk, kinda like the RT debate thread. One last thing, you're looking a one thread that is going to be pic intensive (bandwidthwise).

I was already pondering on this... It seems that they tried to put someone from a different part of the series, minus Mac+. It would be funny if they gave us Roy, but not the DYRL/SDF version, but the Mac 0 instead. LOL! Another criteria seems to be that the girl has too look like a 15 year old with a skirt or a tight fitting costume. So we're more likely to get a Sharon Apple than a Myung. Most likely for the series 2? Roy - DYRL Misa - DYRL (mickey mouse flight suit) Sharon Apple - (short hair) Sivil Sara Nome - um dressed...though the final shot of her on Ep. 2 would be OK. What I want for series 2? I posted a scan on the old board of a comparison of all the major valks. Phyrox also put together a wallpaper that had destroids and valks in scale with each otehr. But it would be a cool project. I'll look for the scan later today.

LOL, sometimes I wonder what people do with the scans I provide them. This turned out pretty well. I didn't know it went to the same person that I gave the Monster I photoshopped. Great work once again Phyrox. It's not how primitive the tools are, it's how well that caveman draws. If you need any more scans let me know. >EXO

Everyone assumes that it's so random (because we were all told that way) I bought 2 sets from Tamim and when I opened them, they pretty much came in order. THe solid hair on the left side and the translucents on the right. There's also an order in how they are packed. First Hikaru, then Minmay, Ishtar, Mylene and last Mao. It's the chase figure that makes them random, which you have a small chance of getting. I called Kevin up to tell him, I managed to reach him but he had already mixed up a couple. So hopefully some of you got full sets from him. I'm just letting you guys know so when set 2 comes out, you won't hesitate to get them if randomness was an issue. It's the same case with the pencil sharpeners. You either get the full set that is pictured on the top of the box, or you get the ones pictured on the front, with the chase figures making them even more random. The pencil sharpeners are harder to collect becasue it seems they sell more of the ones pictured on top. IMHO, this whole trading situation bites. Just sell the damn sets complete.
