Last Christmas I made a webpage with all the stuff I wanted and linked them to online stores that they could buy it from, I made sure they went straight to the item page. I emailed everyone the URL to my "want list". That's how I ended up with 2 1/48 Hikarus from Vaklyrie Exchange under the tree.

That's my car changer I'm talking about... At home it's all mp3's... that I made from my private collection, of course...

So you one movie away from being a fan? -
$95 for 2 Evas. The shipping is a killer though. I just got one for 42 shipped... I have big doubts about them making angels. Are there any SOC bad guys?

Yeah, almost no articulation even though it would have been easy for them to put the joints on these toys. I mean they're wearing armor and their limbs are already segmented. I ran out and bought them full price too. I'm going to inspect that Guges before I even think about buying it. -
Wow. Wasn't expecting a response so quickly. No kidding? Toycom? With a US release even? That Bri looks almost like a painted resin kit - at least from what you can see of him. You're not talking about these things, are you? Link Those weren't anywhere near as big as the behemoth shown above, were they? They both look almost as large as the 1/48 VF-1. Yeah, I saw these at the S.D. Comic Con. They have a bunch of repaints already out. LePoseur, I agree, the guges' legs are suppose to be huge and round not flat on the sides. Maybe these are modeled after the movie coming out as the packaging suggests. It would be cool if they released Briareos in Guges type armor like in book 4(?)... The box for the Super 1J looks to be the same size as the others and have the same cloud type packaging as the Low-Viz. maybe it's going to be thicker. Good luck to the dealers and us consumers with the shipping rates that that's going to come with...

Correction: It frickin' rules to be a Macross fan with disposable income right now. (I just happen to have a lot of disposable income and no gf at the moment, so ... ) Holy CRAP is this good news. 1/48 whatever. I'll get it too if it comes out. I want 'em both. Gimme gimme!!! A little OT, but can anyone comment on this pic: What's with the Guges and Briarios??? That's as exciting as a GBP as far as I'm concerned. Someone actually loves us neglected Appleseed fans at last! Who the heck is making these, and what are they going to cost??? I MUST KNOW!!! This is the first I've seen the Guges, but the Briareos is a repaint (I think) as well as the Deunan. I believe Toycomm is releasing these domestically (U.S.)

What series finale still stands the test of time?

Macross - best ending ever Cowboy Bepop. That shot of Spike with the tag line "you're gonna carry that weight" See ya Space Cowboy! *sniff -
No kidding. Apparently they're already talking about T4 going ahead without him, and his abscence from Hollywood will hardly help King Conan get the green light anytime soon. T4? It ain't T without Arnold. In Reese's flashback from the original Terminator movie, that Terminator didn't look anything like Arnold. I think they used different ones now and then and after the first one, the "Arnold" versions were probably special models meant specifically for John Conner. I rather like the idea I read a year or two ago that hinted T3 might have the *human* that Arnold's Terminator was based off of. Make it something tragic. Older hero of the resistance maybe slightly out of his prime, but copied by the machines first to undermine and then to demoralize. And I liked T3. Especially the ending. Actually that works perfectly for the third version, since they sent the specific Terminator to assasinate John Connor. In T2 the T-100 was captured and reprogrammed (IIRC). Also, there was an interview with Stan Winston where he said they ALL looked like Arnold, he was talking about that assembly line trailer from T-2, where he says "I'm back." Has anyone seen the T-2 3D at the Universal Tour? Haven't caught it, been meaning too... just wondering about the storyline.

If I brought the life size figure home, I'm sure my wife would leave me.... That's why they made the pocket size version...

I think they're doing fine with the non-muscular upgrades. I think Ahnold had a cameo in the latest Rock flick.

don't forget Batman and Robin He was hot as Mr. Freeze... which was half the problem...

Realistically, this would be true. But the Terminator is as much Arnold's character as it is Cameron's. I doubt T2 would have made half of it's take without Ah-nuld in the lead role. He's what filled those seats. That's why I have to wonder how successful a T4 would be without him. No doubt, Arnold IS the Terminator. But I guess we'll find out what kind of box office clout the Terminator series has without him, since the next one got a green light. It's the only property the old Carolco Pics have up their sleeve and they are gonna milk it like crazy.

BMF=Big Daym... Man you're cracking me up, I actually want you to stick around now...

No kidding. Apparently they're already talking about T4 going ahead without him, and his abscence from Hollywood will hardly help King Conan get the green light anytime soon. T4? It ain't T without Arnold. Box office numbers aside, I never really understood why they made the terminators from the same mold. I mean, if I was one of those mangy bastards in the future and I saw Arnold, I'd be running the other way faster than fast... It made sense in the first one when the Terminator infiltrated the cave HQ and blew everyone away, that guy looked nothing like Arnold.

No, no, no... he need a dose of Terminator movies, so he can see how trivial this kinda thing is when life as we know it was to end soon...
