While Gogo and her ball and chain was cute, O-Ren's secretary was certainly hot. No mention of her in the trailers or anything. -

I what you're talking about IS on the 1/60s

They delayed the Alphas because of a crummy head sculpt and a repaint? Oy, Toynami... they won't disappoint you with their disappointment schedule, that's fer sure...

Hey I am starting to notice a trend. Anytime someone puts up some really amazing work you only slam them. What's your deal? It seems as though you are trying to start fights with members here. If that is your intention here then go away.... That being said..... Man those are really great. I think I have found my new wallpaper as well. Excellent work! Rob MN hey, Rob... da_gremlinz is just using slang... that was actually a compliment... these kids today, I tell ya!

I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything, but what is the trend to be the guy who says "this thread should be locked" "this thread will be moved" i don't get it. is the point to be the cool guy in the closed thread saying "this will be closed soon" seems like the LOGICAL thing to say would be to say nothing in the hopes the thread would slide off the page, rather than bumping a thread you know to be redundant back to the top mearly to say "it will be closed" i dont' get it, sorry to rant, nothing against you drew. I understand what you're trying to say, KingNor, but I think Drew's just trying to help. Sometimes new members wonder where their threads were moved or why it was locked. In which case it is "cool". A mod sometimes does not have time to explain their actions.

Did Meltran get this info from a "yamato insider" as I've heard? Please people, don't go there...

I gort mixed feelings about this movie. Some parts were really good and some parts blew chunks. The fight with Gogo was excellent, but the Lucy Lui finale was awful. I know Lucy Lui is some sort of black belt or something and she's done great martial art sequences in other movies. All I can say is Woo-ping Yuen must've took the day off when they filmed that scene. The scene with Sonny Chiba and his helper was excellent. And yeah, WTF is the deal with her name? Any guesses? How about Alabama? lol -
It's basically a direct sequel (of sorts) to T2. IIRC (been awhile), you're visitors at Cyberdyne. They have a rep who talks down to u as a bunch of the great unwashed on a tour of their facility. As it happens, Sara & John Connor do a terrorist raid on the facility. But the T1000 comes and attacks them during it. Arnold's terminator comes, of course, to save the day again. They get caught in some sort of temporal thing that sends them to them to the future at the same place (IIRC), Cyberdyne where Skynet is housed (IIRC, in contradiction to T3's unlocalized 'iNt4rW3B' Skynet). Um... then the "T-X" is some sort of T1000 that's huge and more like an octopus. Arnold's terminator manages to blow it up (along with Skynet), which happily sends the audience (and Sara & John) back to where they came from. Basically its' similar to T2. John is kinda brave (or lost) and the Terminator keeps protecting him while they're being pursued by the T1000. Then they go from the frying pan into the fire (first to exoskeleton infantry types then to the T-X). They have screen clips of the "real" actors telling stuff to the audience while the stunt-extra's lip-synch and run around. Sounds supremely lame. I think the whole point to the ride was for James Cameron to show off his new 3D technology, not to further the Terminator continuity.

Don't worry MnM, (can I call you MnM? ) We're as helpful as we are cruel... cripes, we're still cruel to each other... Welcome to MW.

I like this one, except for a couple of things: the M & M figures don't mix well with the paintings, and the DYRL uniforms don't look right with the TV schemes. The second one is admittedly nitpicking. But I love the TV schemes and uniforms that much... Beautiful work though... Oh yeah Millia does look weird facing away, hehe.

Hmmm. all these Ninja Samurai games... Hiroaki Samura did some art for the Japanese release of Tenchu and now he's doing designs for this game... can't understand anything about except the guy has no hands but can attach his weapons to his arms... http://www.wow-ent.co.jp/jpn/products/doro...roro/index.html

I think he meant the fact that it was gray and a limited release... I was thinking the same thing... I thought all MPCs were already limited release?

From the larger pic ooks like the shoulder missile packs are molded to a faux shoulder insert. I wonder how it would affect the articulation... looks good to me. it's probably the only 1/60 I'll put out for display. That Hase custom will always be the best representation of a GBP ever...

eh, didn't really give a crap about Blood as a movie. So I wouldn't care if they made a movie or not. But 2 hours of Krisin Kreuk in a little sailor uniform wouldn't be bad... how many more vampire slayer movies do we need...

Hey Mechamaniac, have you thought about if there are any "redneck" macross fans out there?

Rap music, I could stand if it's background music for a movie. I can't imagine watching Menace II Society without it, hell... I can't even imagine Office Space without it. Country music I could do without, though I like twang flavored rock n' roll like Johnny Cash, Beck, and sometimes Social D.
