  1. Bandai milks Grade A lowfat quality milk... the reissues were awesome, with the printed decals and removeable heatshield. They brought back a proven quality toy and made some improvements even the fanboys couldn't have asked for. The SOC line and the perfect grades look great. (from someone that doesn't even watch Gundam.) Apples and Oranges. Or rather apples and rotten apples. I'm sorry to be part of the bashing here, but I would root for Toynami if they would just make me a happy customer. We'll see when the Alphas come out. If they even come close to my lowered expectations, I'll be the first to endorse them here.
  2. I've noticed a couple of times where an attached picture will get cut horizontally. It can be fixed by refreshing so it's no big deal. I just thought someone should know in case there's an easy fix or if it's a setting on my part.
  3. Well I believe toyfair got did a write up on the 1/48 and they were in awe of it. I remember that side note... I also remember the MPC as the Toy of the Year front cover pic.
  4. I voted for Ripley. While I can't stand Sigourney Weaver anymore, Ripley from Alien and Aliens was kick-ass character. My favorite action babes: Carrie Fisher - Star Wars Joanne Whalley - Willow Kelly Hu - Xmen 2 Leonor Varela - Blade II Milla Jovovich - Fifth Element Jennifer Garner - Alias Carrie-Anne Moss - Matrix Honorable Mention: Jenette Goldstein - Aliens (too masculine to put with the rest) Angelina Jolie - Tomb Raider (crappy movies, but I love me that nutcase) Worst: Halle Berry - X2
  5. I saw those in San Diego during the Comic Con. I also saw the endoskulls in the Toynami booths. Hehe, those guys will release anything with light up eyes...
  6. You're right... damn I was looking for pics on the web... I'm going to edit my post because I'm taking them off my server... fine, I won't
  7. Sean... how may times do I have to tell you to chew properly when you eat?
  8. I wonder how many RT fans know about the 1/48 or any of the alternative merchandise. I mean it's not largely advertised and we all know about the censorship their fanbase goes thru. I for one would hope that most of them went towards Yamato as their choice because if it helps their sales, it would mean more releases for us. I know there are members on these boards that buy MPCs just because they are completists. It's the only sensible reason for me why anyone would choose to buy them. Good luck, Rewooh...
  9. "How do we know he's NOT Mel Torme?"
  10. That detail has escaped my notice as well, though I suspect it has something to do with the optic sensor. Can anyone shed any light on the issue? You are correct, sir... the optic sensor on the TV version does not have the black frame around it unlike the DYRL version. Isn't that the 1J? No the VF-1J is just the color shift. Which may or may not be an animation error. The VF-1A difference is physical. The DYRL version has the black frame around it while the TV version is just a green square, much like the VF-1D.
  11. Please go to this page for a review: http://protoculture.lebhead.com/toys/ Here's a good page for comparison pictures: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/toys/1...comparisons.htm
  12. There really isn't any reason to sell seperate TV Fast Packs, unless they release a TV version VF-1S. The M&Ms have custom colored FaST packs and I guess the DRYL types are good enough for the CFs if they ever release it. Let's face it, the DYRL lineart IS the official lineart, no matter if it just a movie in the continuity or not.
  13. how old do you guys think he'd be when he get out of politcs. I'm just wondering what type of roles will be left for him.
  14. only if it's followed by "hey hey hey..."
  15. I saved it on my home PC... I'll PM you later...
  16. I was thinking the same thing... but I'm pretty sure this one is legit. "I want poo-poo for my putty" Man that thread was hilarious... I even saved it.
  17. That detail has escaped my notice as well, though I suspect it has something to do with the optic sensor. Can anyone shed any light on the issue? You are correct, sir... the optic sensor on the TV version does not have the black frame around it unlike the DYRL version.
  18. That would mean that the Elint and Ostrich might be out of the picture too. Meh! That would bite! Help us Cobywa... er Fulcy, you're our only hope...
  19. Guyver calls them Zoanoids... Bionoid was just a close sounding equally goofy word. Bionoid........Bio-dome........Avoid the Noid.........I think I'll stick with "bubble-boys". It'll be a movie about Jake Gyllenhaal (Bubble Boy) vs. John Travolta (The Boy in the Plastic Bubble). That was Jake Gyllenhaal? I had so much respect for him after Donnie Darko... all gone now... John Travolta could totally kick his ass. I mean he did that one handed push up while in the space suit.
  20. Until now I thought kermit shaped your sexual behavior... kidding...
  21. Don't get me wrong... I just think we should take it to chat!!!
  22. I read the article... ok, let me rephrase my protest. I think it's in danger of being derailed. Whilst the conversation stems from Arnold past sexual proclivity during his career as a body builder, I feel that the talk of when and how often gangbangs happen in our own lives maybe slightly off topic.
  23. This thread has been... derailed.
  24. Personally. I thought she was the most attractive actress in the entire movie (I still love Uma though........Pu$$y w@g0n). When I saw the name Julie Dreyfus I thought the actress from Seinfeld was going to be in the movie. Hahahaha. Here's Julie Dreyfus (with ol' QT) as Sofie Fatale. B) They should change her name to Eileen Fatale...
