If they made 1/60 M+ valks, there would be no reason to make 1/48s! We all already know that would be too ridiculous of a size. All Fighter modes 1:60 scale M+ valks in length: YF-19 - 12.21 in or 31.01 cm YF-21 - 12.87 in or 32.69 cm VF-11 - 10.18 in or 25.86 cm That should be able to hold the detail comparable to 1:48 VF-1

He who hates cliches must live on his words... boy, that was bad... Nope, you would buy 2! Yeah, we'd all still be freakin' broke.

That's me!!! the fan, not the oddball... well, that too...

Dude, you have no idea how big of a Monica Bellucci fan I am. I even saw that Irreversible. It's really hard to watch, wouldn't see it again. I mean Kill Bill has nothing on it when it comes to violence. But I was surprised how good Carrie Ann Moss looked here, I always thought she was pretty but I'm blown away by that pic...

Who you kidding, MGREXX? They even hate you at RT.com

Hagan, no more models? Sucha shame... what are you filling your time with now? Nice work. I still remember your Skull Squadron in action...

Too late... but we're not gonna lynch you. What we got are a couple of dresses, some egg beaters and whole bottle of Pine Sol! Anyway, I don't think I would get the YF-1R if Kawamori designed it. The snippet "rears it's ugly head" never applied to anything so specific before... until now.

Who will be the first TF: Alternators Decepticon?

REALLY?!? I didn't even know they used micro cassettes back then... I thought it was all 8 tracks... -
don't you mean 'screw the virgins, I want the virgins?' Seriously, all you guys crying for virgins, let me share a little secret with you... they don't put out!!! THAT'S why they call them virgins!!!

I don't really consider it dooming ourselves as much as I think of it as supporting our suppliers. I agree that $150 for a Low-Viz on eBay is ridiculous (before S&H). But people like at the VEX, TMP, Blasto, and Marcia's Locker (etc.) do offer unbelievably fair prices. If you (generally speaking) try to set up a personal contact in Japan that would ship a bundle load, maybe it'll be cheap at first but I guarantee after a couple of shipments you'll be back up where you started. First of all your contact would think it would be a hassle, and second, you'll be hassled by the people that bundled up with you. Hence, the price will be raised at two points of importation. I was able to get my FaST packs at a great price at VEX and preordering it meant I got it before it sold out. The service that these people provide are incredible, maybe a little bit higher than other places, but you'd have to look around and take the chance they'll replace the item if it's defective. The fact is, we chose a hobby that comes with importation costs. And I'm not talking just in Macross terms. As far as I know I can't find SOC Evas in the Toys R' Us in my hometown. And there's no HG standing against that property. The price in Japan is no secret. Just do the math and you'll see how fair is fair.

if that were the case, he wouldn't have his little cassettes anymore. All digital now! Say that again? Yup! Soundwave would be cool, especially with a working and transformable memory stick. But it was more fun when they were cassettes. It's a good thing they didn't come out in the 70's because records are hard to transform. For the kids out there, records are real big CDs. -
No...it had 2 scenes of being blown up. Once in Force of Arms and the other in To the Stars. Also, its not really an Orguss...its a Valkyrie "dressed up" to look like an Orguss. I didn't say it was an Orguss. I called it by what people have been calling it. Is that a yes?

third!!! Or maybe I can render a missile or something just to get in on the action...
-
You know, I'd pay $700 for that monster. $500 for the 1/48 M&Ms. $300 for the Elint and Ostich if they ever made it in 1/48. EACH! $150 for each Destroid. (minus the virgins) $450 for a 1/48 GBP. hehe. Now we're all up the DOOMED creek!

I believe you are correct about that. However, this "YF-1R" isn't exactly a new derivative. Thanks to Animefiend it did appear in at least one clip. So...animation error?...Yes Monstrosity?...Yes. New derivative? Technically...No. However, hopefully we won't see any more "mutants" in the VF line that didn't appear in the series! (That is if we are both right about HG's in-ability to create any new derivatives) DOh! You made post in this thread, something I swore never to do!!! ...but I have question relating what TBE stated. I don't remember, but IIRC, the Orguss Vakyrie appears in the series also doesn't it? Does that mean HG/Toynami are within their (so called) rights to expoit it? And all the "in" jokes that they included that were purposely done and wasn't an anime-friend goof up?
-
Why virgins? So they'd be guaranteed mint? They'd probably be too small at 1/60 but it makes most sense to scale them with the Monster. IF they made them at all.

Who is your favorite action movie heroine?
EXO replied to Jolly Rogers's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
That's I thought that that's what this list is about... And probably the exact reason I didn't include the CTHD women. I was questioning putting Princess Leia in because as as hard as they tried, she doen't strike me as the glamorous type (but hey, she goes by the book ) I was judging from the list on the poll. If where talking about strong (willed) women then Clarice Sterling would be no.1. But let's face it, it wasn't an "action" role (damn JR beat me to it). The aforementioned Thelma and Louise would be up there. I'd add Linda Hamilton, Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi, Pam Grier and Michelle Rodriguez. IMO, it does, well... minus the bad writing, but Trinity, Lady Deathstrike, and the rest on my list were kickass. That's why Angelina Jolie was exiled to honorable mention and I purposely left out Kate Beckinsdale and pointed out Milla Jovovich from the Fifth Element and not from Resident Evil... I'm sure many would still disagree, but that's why there's a poll AND a discussion... -

For some reason I hold Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi on some different level. I can't figure it out... The rest of the other girls were more like comic book figures. While the action in CTHD was unrealistic, it was more than a comic book type movie. I know people would disagree... -
Great job again, Electric Indigo. I was wondering if you have any raw pics of your models. Also, do you have any macross models that you can post up, would love to see them... thanks...
