  4. For some reason I like the blimp from Black Sunday...
  5. CAn't anyone else see that???
  6. Yeah, it says, Hi Exo, do you remember me? We met on the set of the Crow 2. It was wild... I still yearn for you...
  7. Yeah, you're right, this isn't the right place. Don't be afraid to post it up on the Other Anime section. If it's good it'll be a popular thread. MikeRB had a thread dedicated to the Mospeada aspect of the Sentinels and it stayed up on the top for a long time. Anyway, post it up, if the mods decide they'll move it. But any custom is always looked at with great interest especially if it's innovative. Good Luck...
  8. Tom, any updates?
  9. Yoshitaka Amano did the character design for Mospeada. He had done previous work for DC when he illustrated a Sandman book by Neil Gaiman. So it was probably easy for them to get him again. And yes, it is a great touch. I'll be getting these books just for the covers if anything.
  10. I love RT.com. I also like looking inside the short bus on the way to a zoo field trip. I also love this poll.
  11. hehe, ok... he should change though... phew!!!
  12. Covers by Amano should be good. But I think they are disgracing him with that fugly Yellow Dancer. That guy is suppose to pass off as a super hot singing idol chick?
  13. Hey! I resemble that remark!
  14. I saw Robotech before SDF Macross but the music to SDF Macross made more sense to me. I think Ulpio Manucci could have used his music to make great Superhero scores. The Main theme sounded a lot like the theme to Superman the movie.

  16. Each version has a different gun. It's neat, gonna have to think about it. Man, $150 a toy these days, my mom said that watching too much TV was bad for me back then, you know you're getting old when you're parents are becoming more right than they even know...
  17. Christmas Special is up... Goto YellowLightMan's Fanart Website (don't forget to check out his regular site.) Here's the link: http://www.yellowlightman.com/mfc Note to self: next time upload it in reverse...
  18. Maybe it's just me but calling her a Girly-Woman wouldn't be much of an insult and could probably be taken as a compliment...
  19. If you can rent it first then do so. The pacing is kinda slow but it has the most awesome mecha designs. How much is the box set? I think it's an aweful lot to be spending on something you never seen and don't know what to expect?
  20. Some Mangas, probably most, are flipped to accomodate english speaking readers because in Japan they start form, what to us, is the back of the book. Some are simply flipped and everything is mirror image and some are reordered form back to front and panels are pasted, so that they won't be mirror image. Blade of the Immortal is editted the latter way to the wish of the author, probably because if it was mirror imaged, the hero would have a huge swastika on his back when it's suppose to be a suvastika (similar but pointing the other direction). Doh, beat me to it, JELEINEN, that's what I get for yapping while posting....
  21. Each seat had a Kanata holder... I guess "Fly the Friendly Skies" is not that airlines motto. I think the wires were left on the plane intentionally, just like the bad editting in the Shaw-Scope opening. Saw it again, yesterday. Enjoyed it much more now. Funny thing is that both times I saw it it was empty in the theatres. And it was a weekend night both times. Still couldn't enjoy the O-Ren showdown... But enjoyed the Crazy 88s even more this time. Gotta give it to the 5,6,7,8s too.
  22. I don't think it was misused as it was overused. There are subtle parts in SDF Macross where it's just dialogue with no BGM. In RT, the music was constant and badly editted. They just faded one song into the other with no synching. Even as a kid I felt it was relentless. Again, not the composer's fault.
