I would probably buy more if they came out with a blank kit with different heads. It wouldn't stop me from buying the different schemes they sold but it would be cool to have a custom ready valk. maybe when they exhausted their VF-1 line... and an all white 1/48 would be aaaalll right!!!

I'm just trying to figure out when and why fans get fanatical about certain things and why the Angel Birds are reduced to below cult status. Even the Lightning has an bigger cult in MW and that's an almost impossible toy to make compared to a different paint scheme of a toy that's been produced by many different companies. Bsu, I was aware of the Hase version, that's why I posted that as a toy, it has never been considered.

I think it's suppose to be upside down during battroid. The Battroid mode was suppose to be a super secret project so seeing the gunpod upside down during fighter would have been kinda strange. It's too bad they dont make the gun muzzle rotate so that the text would read upright in any mode. Not nitpicking... I just thought of that myself... Great job Master Cheng! Simply amzing!!!

I'm not going to go to the whole Lucas thing, because it's all been said before and I'll give you that Marcus Brodie thing even though I don't think it ruined the movie. That scene where he pops up in Egypt(?) after Indy tells them that he would blend in and never be found was hilarious. But Indy is a brooding loner? Indy is a wordly man able to get resources from all over the world. I doubt any brooding loner would get far in a business like his. In the beginning of Raiders he had tht pilot with him on the first adventure and he didn't exactly hold back Marion when she insisted on accompanying him, so maybe the fact that Shortround was a kid was what bothered you. The fact is: Indy is never alone nor brooding. I wish they would have made more Indiana Jones movies before now, I'm not sure if the one coming up will be any good or it maybe too late, but the fact that you let the films screw up your childhood is a reflection on you, not the movie... Speaking of Raiders... Did anyone catch Beloch eat that fly? When Indy popped up on top of some rocks with a bazooka and Beloch says "You're persistance suprises even me, Dr. Jones" There was a fly that crawled to his lower lip and he breathed it in and it never comes back out... WTF???

The Angel Birds Valkyries got more screen time than the Elint Seeker, just about the same as the GBP, was seen around the same time as the VF-1D, and there were more than one in the series ... so I don't understand why it's exiled to custom land as far as toys are concerned. It's obviously not getting fan-based demand. I just don't understand why not? At first I thought it was because most companies concentrate on the DYRL valks but that doesn't explain the VF-1D. Or maybe it was never pilotted by a main character, but again that doesn't explain the Elint. So my question is why not?

Drifand, the perfect bodies look way better than the stock ones. I wish they would do more armor and less skin tight 12" figures because they look too much like dolls for me to even think about buying. A 12" Appleseed Orc figure would rock.

Wow, it transforms. Yeah the arms kinda look weird, but I don't know where you're referencing this from so I don't know if it's suppose to look like that or not. Based on the arms I would love to see a DYRL Macross from you. But it looks like you have to go from card board to styrene/PVC because it looks like there's warping and fraying on your beautiful customs. Or maybe that's just to expensive. Either way keep it up. Huh? did I miss something? While Raiders is an unsurpassable mark in action film history, the sequels weren't exactly crap. And just because Kawamori said there's nothing left to say about Hikaru, Misa and Minamy doesn't mean that a good Megaroad story is impossible. I assume it's just smarter not to take chances.

I'm thinking he was still working on sculpting or recasting the 1J heads. He has 2 and they don't look similar so maybe he sculpts each one. I may not agree with metallic, but his work is exceptional!
