Finally, a clean version...
-
check out the non fast packtype...
-
The new one is closer to his new vision (as of a couple of years ago, who knows what his vision of Tank Police would be today, probably more horsey porn) and the original is pretty close to the first manga.

If you look at the canopy, there's a horzontal seam. It looks like the canopy was inserted then that piece was glued shut, almost melted on. Like MLZ pointed out... methinks there will be another 1/48 parts sale on ebay soon... LOL...
-
Thanks Draykov, I did look for that, if you take a close look the canopy is still attached to the top of the upper fuselge... I'll tkae pics when I get home tonight.. I'm convinced there is no way to do it, I was just wondering if anyone just had the luck of finding an easy way to go about it... if not it's ok... I already hacked apart the head...

LOTR The Two Towers Extended Edition
EXO replied to Jolly Rogers's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
was there a way to get it out at all??? -
So I broke my canopy from my VF-1S. I have a VF-1A Hikaru with a broken heat shield (both my fault, not a Yamato defect) that I could swap the canopy with... but it seems nearly impossible to swap just the canopy without tearing it out. Has anyone done it? I don't want to swap the whole fuselage just the canopies. Thanks ahead if anyone has any answers.

mold them in color it's really hard to match the color of existing plastics, especially off-white. That would be awesome if it wasn't. I would recast all my older nosecones and to retrofit them with recast radars on the 1/48...

the second box was rereleased to cash in from the popularity of the GITS movie. I think Appleseed was also. New Dominion wasn't really a sequel. There's no pollution, no Buaku even though the Puma Sisters are there and everyone had the smaller tanks, not just Leona... IIRC. Haven't seen either in a long time. Didn't really enjoy them that much...

there should be some resins now that more durable, it'll still break if you force it (just like plastic) but some are flexible enough to withstand some strain... more expensive though. I would be more worried about the paint scratching off the hands if you decide to paint it match the off-white of the valk.

Why is he singing?
-
I don't really know what she's worth... but there's a big west sticker at the bottom...
-
I've seen a bunch of those before, I doubt that they are customs.
-
the bottom parts of the FaST Packs don't have any "real" parts to reveal, so having them transparent would only show metal pegs and screw threads. Having them translucent or white would be the better choice.

I guess to be a modern day RT fan requires a lot of bending over...

How was The 5th Element anime-based? If anything it seemed based more on European comics, especially with Mobius doing some of the design work. You can fully deny that The Fifth Element had anime influences? The Matrix had american comic book designers can we totally dismiss the anime influences there. Mobius rules, I mean we all now he had a better Silver Surfer than Jack Kirby himself but I'm sure Luc Besson had other interests in mind when he put the story together. I mean Leeloo herself is an embodiment of an anime heroine.

And nobody here wants one (I'm pretty sure nobody here would) Considering that model was built by Kishimoto, a MW member...... hehe... check the thread... people asked how much for him to build one for them. It's a great custom.
-
Matrix and Fifth Element... Noyhauser is right. Kill Bill is based on grindhouse kung-fu films. I don't even consider the cartoon anime even though Production IG did it. It looked more like Heavy Metal/MTV type stuff.

yeah... I doubt screening the movie frame by frame was what the creators intended... That screenshot you took was appeared for a split second, a couple of frames later it clearly red when he's closer to the camera... like I said, majority of the time you can see that Hikaru's heatshield is red. Just like Roy's is black. Max's is the only one you can't see slearly because his scene was pure adrenaline. And if you can't use the movie as reference then what's the argument about? I'm answering based on what the original question of the thread... Personally I hope everyone could get the color of his or her choosing...
-
Actually, this looks to be an important thread because it looks like people's profiles is getting hacked, not the subject itself, which IS pretty lame.
-
You people are on crack. Just watched DYRL again.. Hikarus is clearly red. When he was along side Misa by the bridge and the money shot at Bodolza. The was one right before that shot where it was black but it wsa clearly a shadow cast. Max on the other hand was going way too fast to get a good look...

Hell no! Shin's a wimp. Max kicked Millia's ass and it was Millia that surprised Max with the knives. (I think Max had a different type of penetration in mind) Shin couldn't even take his female version in a straight fight and resorted to picking up a broom stick in front of all those soldiers. If that isn't being a pussy then I don't know what is. It's funny when M0 started he was so unwilling to take any sort of help from anybody then they changed his character to be so much weaker. Shooting Focker AFTER he was already dead during the paintball incident. WTF is that about? 2 eps. and I'm already disappointed with his character, I hope he bites it in the end.

Wow... Hound is fugly in robot mode... let's not even mention the dino. I mean there's no imagination to the transformation, it more like peeling than transforming.

I can add more to that story. I saw a special on A&E a few weeks ago on Selleck and he actually could have done Raiders of the Lost Ark because of a strike (I forget by who) that delayed the start of filming of the pilot of Magnum PI by a couple of months which would have made it feasible for Tom to do both of them. I think the reason he didn't was because he didn't find out about the strike until it was too late and Ford had already committed by then. I still think Harrison Ford was the better choice anyway. I guess he thought it would have been a nice boost in his career (even though he was a big star then) but I think it would have been less of a movie without Harrison Ford. He did that Quigley film, which was almost the same guy in a hat genre... I really could do without another sequel though...
