  1. hmmm. I don't know... ever since Eva, I've been looking for a hot single girl with a penguin to move in with.
  2. Where's Lakewood, exactly? I might, but then again.. I suck at fighting games. Um... Sean... that's where I live... Hey Vinny, contact me when you're around here, I suck at these games too but I'll check it out.
  3. Thanks BoB, I'm gonna sit down tonight and read it careufully... I just gave it the once over right now. Hopefully I can come close to your skills. Wish me some luck...
  4. [Vic Romano]Right you are Ken![/Vic Romano]
  5. LOL, Imode, that's actually pretty accurate. But since I took there pics, I'll go ahead and post them... I thought there was a whole rubber piece encompassing the ball but it's only on one half and it looks like it seeps due to the paint scratching off. In which case just sand the paint off and you should be ok. You may want to glue it to the plastic part for an extra measure.
  6. Is this how much they are now? Can this be a markup price? I paid $55 for each of mine and I thought I've seen them for this much. At Frank and Sons it's about $75 but I've only seen them in one location. Maybe you guys should wait for another shipment because I don't see the demand for this going down soon. Hopefully I can get some more after the holidays. ADD: Looks like Draykov just proved my point...

    VF-0/VF-1

Think of it this way... pretend there's another jet with more futuristic lines and it was combined with a VF-1, what do you get? The VF-0... Also, why the fanart section? Were you gonna draw something that you had in mind? Just wondering...
  8. I'd buy THAT for a dollar!
  9. EXO

    Kakizaki decals

It's also has to do with getting stuck with a bunch of boxes no one wants to buy. I think maybe the demand for Kakizake valks isn't that great. I happen to want one myself so I have a custom. If they stick with the 1/60 line up pattern that would be cool, except for the fact that the 1/60s have 2 CFs. I hope they go all the way to the GBP.
  10. that's my point... You have to respect anime producers today that can have original ideas. 80's anime is just great because of all the advances that were made at the time and the people's enthusiasm to take advantage of it. But DYRL is a special case where it can match the quality of the CG animation today and sometimes surpass it...
  11. Wow, brings back memories. 80's anime is still the best for me too as well as 80's music. I mean sure the animation is better overall nowadays but as far as storytelling and originality of the genre, the 80's can't be beat. I remember watching Daimos, Mazinger Z, Voltes V, and Grendizer in the 70's but Macross, Bubblegum Crisis, Gall Force, Megazone and MetalSkin Panic were more of what I enjoyed. ooops, showing age....
  12. it's beginning to like like one of those "I have a friend thing" but you have a lot of posts pushing his or her products. Why not just tell them to sign up and make threads at the dealer announcements. As for the store I like eyesonme78sfriend.com
  13. don't sell yourself short there bake_art... I use to hate valkgirls (except albert's Misa) but since you started drawing them it turned out they were pretty cool. I think it was those kits that I didn't like. I saw Mechmaster's in the modelling page and though he did an excellent job putting the kit together I still don't like way the look. That's the kit's fault, not Mechmaster's (who's a wonderful CG artist also ) Amyway... it got me into drawing some of my own, one of which I posted here. MW has a wonderful community of talent, it's amazing. Did you guys see Chi's sketch of Sara??? Awesome!!! BoB, great job on the tutorial... I needed more of a run through of the inking process... I don't know how possible that is, maybe I'll pm you when I get around to getting CorelDraw. But I still learned a lot from this one. Thanks!
  14. yeah, I think they calling it TROY... LOL... seriously his books don't make good movies for some reason. Even his scripts... I think Robocop 2 was the closest they ever got. If they ever do a batman year one and give him the credit he deserves then maybe...
  15. Problem is it's going to be almost impossible to match Mignola's style on film, his art is so distinctive... any attempt is gonna look half-assed. I loved the comic though, so hopefully it won't suck. Everything else looks great, it's just Hellboy himself that looks kinda weird... Isamu Atreides 86, there's an interview with Mike Richardson concerning Dark Horse's future film projects at Cinescape.com... no word on NextMen though.
  16. That's a weird one... I'm guessing it's due to some kind of moisture build up but I'm not really sure. If it is try putting an open box of baking soda where ever you display or store your valks. I think Arm and Hammer has a box especially for this where you just unpeel part of the box and there's a bag inside that soaks up excess moisture.
  17. yeah it is
  18. I wouldn't look around for it right now... I can only imagine how many people are on ebay scouting these things after the marathon. I know I checked it out before this thread started.
  19. I'm glad the Cartoon Network is going out of their way to get this movie the attention it deserves. They need to give Brad Bird more projects. There's one guy besides John Lasseter that knows what he's doing. I can't wait for The Incredibles to come out.
  20. it's already been reported by Shawn... [manly]Hey, how 'bout them Raiders, huh?[/manly]
  21. He used the List Similar Item feature when listing the GTIS box and forgot to completely edit out everything... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=3362365331 still kinda funny...
  22. Gwen Stacy???
  23. Beautiful.... ok get started on the solar sailer!
  24. I'm not really following the story but I watch the dog fights a lot... so when it comes to ep.3 I don't need a refresher course...
