I have the same problem with all the smaller yammies except for the supers and strike. I thought it was gonna improve but the 1/72s and eveything after the M&Ms on the 1/60 are just to much of a hassle to transform. Back to the box with those. I just mess with my 1/48s and the good ol' Bandais for now. But I do hope better M+ toys come out.

Yeah... that's a pretty well known fact, but it's pretty sfe to assume that we all want those there and it would look a lot better if it was pre-printed by the factory than those stickers they come with. Ever since Bandai printed most of what use to be on the sticker sheets on the reissuesl, I can't help but wonder how much better the 1/48s would look with the larger stickers printed on the valk instead. I'm not sure if it was visible on the fast packs but they managed to print the U.N. Spacy text on there also. I'm not complaining about the past releases, I just hope they continue with the trend.

I was surprised that they printed on the U.N. Spacy lettering on the side. Hopefull they continue to do this. The only thing they would need would be to print the kite logo on the side of the cockpits. What I don't get is how they can paint the small pilots so crisply but they can't get the stripes on the valks right. each one of them have overspray.

It seems like the majority of people in this thread enjoyed the movie. The thread went downhill when there was no crap to talk about so all the "asshating" was focused on OT stuff.

How do you guys get the paint off from between the panel lines??? Sanding goes right over it.

AS for pencil, I thnk most people use regular No.2/HB pencils. Either mechanical or just make sure they're sharp and then coated with clear coat. Pens, I've seen people talk about regular drafting pens. Coated after wards. Gundam markers are what most modellers use. I don't really like the black lines on white valks that I see arounds here. Maybe a really light great would look better. Of course coated after wards is always best. Hope that helps.

I can understand keeping a tight lid on the upcoming designs, but it's kinda weird not knowing what the next 1/48 is.

Doh! I was trying to think of that movie! I kept thinking.. Eddie and the Cruisers... Eddie and the Cruisers... Geez, Sean, weren't you like 2 yrs old when that movie came out???

This movie is that good despite Tom Cruise. He doesn't even distract me from enjoying this film. Hell, there was a baby a couple of seats down and these two guys who wouldn't shut the hell up in the beginning of the movie. I don't remember if they got quiet because of the movie or if I was totally immersed that I forgot about them. (I just know never to go back to those theatres again.) But I think there's no saving a movie once your mind is made up that it won't be enjoyable.

Great movie!!! I almost creamed when the "men in black" showed up. Gobotfool, why ruin a movie you enjoyed while you were watching it? Did it claim to be a factual historical account? Should every period movie be a documentary now? I agree that I would love to see a movie with this type of production without western actors or language, but that fact doesn't make this less than a beautiful film. Well just so the fanboys can get clean pantys before they get it in a bunch... It looks like PJ just might do The Hobbit. That's if he's still interested in Tolkien after King Kong... (OK there's one I don't get... why remake King Kong? Not because the original was holy, but there was already a remake.) I think they should do a made for TV movie with WETA Ltd. effects and the people that came out in the movies. Or maybe a made for cable movie. They could get one of the second hand unit directors to direct it. No need to wait for Peter Jackson.

Before this thread gets locked I just want to say that that is just criminal... an insult to the people that designed, built, pilotted such a beautiful and unmatched craft. Not to mention to the people that was inspired by it to make wonderful transforming toys...( ) What we need is Martin Sheen and the USS Nimitz to get sucked into a wormhole and stop old Dick's birth with a squadron of Tomcats.
