I think it would actually save mods some time if they did explain themselves a little bit more once and a while, so that the mistake wouldn't be repeated and less modding would be needed. They're not getting paid but they did volunteer for the job. Think about it... The time it takes to explain is probably less than the time to read this thread. Not trying to knock the job they do now, I think MW is a tight ship compared to other forums.

Been there done that. I have retail stories that would either make your skin crawl or bust a gut laughing. But I believe the average joe viewer stay average because of the way the studios and corporations treat them. I think you're having the same problem as the rest of us except you're focusing on Shogun vs. Last Samurai aspect. The fact is the sympathetic westerner hero moves in with the foreigners (or the Amesh) and becomes their only hope while discovering himself is finally getting old. Audience are familiar enough with other cultures where they don't need a guide thru a story. While some are done well still, like this one, a lot of it is going to reflect on one another. Also if you enjoyed Gladiator and wasn't troubled by the fact it was similar to Ben-Hur and Spartacus (assuming you saw the latter 2) then this is probably more of the same thing.

I wanted to turn it off after 45 minutes. But I thought it was only an hour so I decided to stay for the space fights... guess what I had to wait another 20 minutes. The second hour was better because of the space skirmishes (they weren't battles), a good number of carnage, and yeah boomer was hot. I feel funny saying that because the he was a black male in the previous series. The space skirmishes were nice though. They applied somewhat real physics to the way the ships were controlled. They also muffled the space sound so that it would seem like sound wasn't travelling. I think they got all that from Final Fantasy: Spirits Within though... Bad Ideas: Apollo and Boomer are now females. Humanlike Cylons... she wasn't that sexy even though they forced it Backward technology that runs a space battleship (no computer network??? yeah right!) School teacher becomes president Adama and Apollo are father and son? Was that the case in the original? Good Ideas: semi-realistic physics in space Pilotless cylon cruisers - the whole thing WAS a cylon. Overall it was pretty bad. I'd tune in once and a while to watch the battle scenes but that's about it.

I have those toys and the DVD's within them. The DVD's are so short and looped that they're not even worth mentioning. At San Diego Comic Con this past summer though they had a longer preview that lasted about 7-10 minutes. It looked a lot better this time around. But it still hasn't lost that video game smoothness that the CG characters had, even though it was motion captured. No word on the story yet, a least none that I know of. All the sites are mostly Japanese. As far the books, I've already given up on them. While Shirow holds Deunan and Bri in high regards when it comes to his work, I think his interest have gone more to the cyberdelic action of Ghost in The Shell, rather than the urban gritty type that Appleseed was. I'm hoping really bad that I'm wrong though.

Incredibly enough, can u believe that the Walscroll does not have the kite on the side of the cockpit!!! I don't get it, either it didn't come with the sticker Or it is a bootleg!, I guess I'll go with option two... Hey Rob, I've ran my Low Viz over with Alcohol and it didn't damage it. I was taking off the weathering but it took a lot of alcohol pads to get it off, so I'd say giving it the once over with alcohol won't do any considerable damage to the weathering. I haven't put on any stickers but I'm wondering if it's the weathering itself that might cause your stickers to come off later.

Selling them seperately would be kinda unnecessary. The reason the other FPs were sold seperately was because they would go on different DYRL valks. They always release the Roy's scheme as a DYRL so it's meant to be with the Strike Pack. And Max and Millia's 1J FPs are custom colored. At the end this is the only one they could bundle the generic TV Fast Packs with. It's almost a guarantee that selling them it alone would do poorly. Why get that one when you can get one with a strike cannon? But who knows, maybe bundling it with the removeable hands and the TV pilot would give people enough reasons to buy it....
