I hate the word 'nostalgia' when it comes to talking about 1/55s. The fact is, for the price, these toys look better and are more playable than the toys being released today. The only ones that could probably surpass these are the 1/48s(at double/triple the cost) or the alternator line/MPC Prime. But compared to other transformable toys today, the 1/55s still has them licked.

Doesn't look very funny. I really liked the look of the original cartoon as far as a drawn version of the movies.

I colored the pilot, the marker I used stuck on pretty well, but the fine black I used to line it kinda bled a little.

Yeah it was taken apart and I left just the parts I needed in the degreaser. Then I wet sanded it with a hobby sandpaper, I think it's 600, superfine. EDIT: Correction, it was a 400 grit sandpaper.

Castrol Super Clean Degreaser... Reusable... Clean... and biodegrable. Just like Lysol, just leave it in there and use a fine grit sanding paper to wipe off the paint. The valk actually came out whiter than that but I messed with some panel lining and stuff. And taken at night with a low flash, maybe I'll take another pic under daylight next time. Wala nang horas ngayon!

That was my assumption too. I remember doing a poll on the 1Js and the FP version won by a landslide. But releasing the M&Ms together is gonna hurt like hell. There's a fine line between pleasure and pain!

It looks like a rerelease of the first series, if so then the secret figure is the minmay doll figure. I don't know if HLJ provides you a sealed box if you buy 10, if so there's a good chance you'll get 2 sets of each 5 per box. One set with regular hair and one set with the translucent hair. The only way you won't have 2 complete sets is if you get the chase figure inside.
