The joints didn't become loose because there was no paint removed from any articulation point. I only sanded where the paint was. That valk was my Hikaru VF-1A. I did find that the red was more difficult to remove than the black.

um... you're talking to people that take apart their $130 toys or get markers to draw all over them. LOL!

The difference is that there is no more velcro on the flaps and the headrest is curved instead of straight. Those should be dead giveaways without opening the package.

BUMMER? I think he should direct every movie ever made! After watching the Director's Cut Aliens on the big screen, I was able to appreciate it more. The atmosphere and dialogue was a lot more realistic. Aliens has been my favorite movie for a long time due to combined elements. The mechs, the robot, the marines. But directorial-wise Alien was just that much better. And it seemed like Ridley Scott has really honed his storytelling skills. He's a far cry from Bladerunner with Gladiator and Black Hawk Down. Bladerunner, also one of my favorites, kinda lagged a bit, but his pacing has jumped pretty far since. Anyway, I'm still gonna take this with a grain of salt. Sigourney Weaver has been trying to get him to direct the film for a while now. Though he stated he was interested he never actually agreed. Besides, the first thing I would wish he threw out would be Ripley. She's old news.

Just for the record, my suggestion was just that, a suggestion. I've never been a mod and have no interest on being one, but I read the rules before and have always followed them for the most part, I just can't blame anyone else for not knowing it verbatim. Actually there's no point to this post, I just wanted to quote Max for posterity.

I think he means it'll remove the yellowing much like a fine grit sandpaper would, by removing a layer of plastic until it gets to the white part. Not a true whitener or a yellow remover, which there is no such thing.

Nice. Just a tip though, try distorting the star field next time to match the direction the valk is going, right now it looks like the valk is travelling in an angle direction. Which would be doable in space but I'm talking about it aestheticly.

Not one single movie? You must be a fun date. The last 2 movies I watched in a theater.... Mission: IMpossible 2 and Scream 3.... I guess that left a pretty big scar. Kirsten Dunst is hot. I would've preferred Jessica Biel. She looks just like the Steve Ditko Mary Jane. I think they casted Kirsten Dunst as Gwen Stacy and then just called her Mary Jane just because they didn't kill her off at the bridge, as in the comics. See, I told you this was an ongoing debate... I'd go with the saddled theory simply because in the Q'Raus seated position, the Meltran's leg would have to bend backwards or her hib bone would get ripped from its socket. I mean it's nice to think they are flexible, but not freakishly. The Gold book image gets cut off at the knee so you can't tell if it's bent of not.

The love story was hokey 90210 stuff, but the Spider-Man sequences was the best representation of Spider-Man ever. I'm glad they stuck with the classic design for the most part.
