    DarrinG just pointed me to this thread, I'd be happy to sculpt pilots for this figure if the captain isn't already going to provide it. I would just need a copy of the cockpit from someone who bought it to get the correct measurements. That is of course if anyone is interested. But please focus on getting the numbers for this project first... Sorry cap... didn't mean to intrude. I do love these Inbit sculpts!

    A lot of the criticism on the kickstarter comments thread bother me. I'm not sure if it's anyone here or not that that even matters. But I feel like going there to bad mouth them in an over all general sense just looks like trolling. To me the only valid warning to any one thinking of donating would be to look at who they are sending their money to. You can demand to see a statement of where the money is going to be used and anyone can make a list or pie chart to satisfy that need, but that doesn't really tell anyone that it's actually going to go there. All anyone else has to know is if it's actually worth putting down hard earned cash to support a project that has record of delivering uncompleted and unsubstantial material. The tax evasion, the licensing debate, Carl Macek's involvement... critiquing those things just seem like blind hate and to me, they dilute the actual valid criticisms that some people are posting. Anyway, I'm not gonna tell anyone to stop, you did pay to comment... I'll just save my dollar. And pleeeease tell me no one here actually paid the $2 to put negative comments. That's just plain dumb.

    At the con? Last year it ended at 6... it might be the same this year. We don't have a set schedule yet.

    It's a great kit but it does require a lot of work. Maybe if you're an avid cosplayer with experience with constantly building this sort of thing. And the instructions are in Japanese obviously.

    Of course as soon as I said that I find Robotech admins posting on our twitter account spamming the "enemy spy tier". I just went ahead and blocked them. Not gonna play their game. That tier shows how people are just pledging their money to a company that'll never know what professionalism is. It's bad enough that they're bad at their jobs but stooping below to childish behavior... I'm not saying you can't have fun but you just don't do it in a business setting such as a fund raiser. I shoulda did a screen cap before I erased it.

    Still too early to tell... take a look at this other KS project with a 500,000 goal. They did a lot worse than HG in the first week. I suspect there's a lot of people that are waiting by the wings to see if their money is really needed to fund the project and then decide last minute that they need to make it happen. I didn't read up on what that project is about, I just wanted to see something that had a similar goal. Again, I'm not saying that RT:Academy will reach their goal... just that anything can happen...

    I'm sure every Kickstarter project owners ask themselves the same thing, even the ones that get backed. But so far their projection is typical of the ones that do happen. I'm still hoping every Robotech fan will throw all their money into this.

    There's a comment on there that made me laugh. It was something along the lines of a pledge not wanting to donate to the tier where they can get a likeness animated in the pilot fearing that HG would sue them if they ever post a selfie in Facebook.

    Love the answer to why it costs $500k to make one episode. Basically translates to... look we got nothing... no story, no designs, nothing! Alls we got is a dream... haven't you ever had a dream mister?
