Resin. AS for the TV pilot and the new imroved DYRL pilots. I kinda wanted them in the rubbery material so I have to look for a resin similar to it. Just haven't had the time. There's a Smooth-On distributor a couple of miles away. I'm gonna have to take a drive one of these days and show them exactly what I'm hoping for.

This is what I get for saying I don't mind Yune's art. Wonderful Days is a fine anime created in Korea. Manga is japanese for comics. Therefore Yune is a manga artist? That brings back the whole notion that die-cast doesn't have to be metal... For us english speaking people, anime is what we call japanese cartoons because it's no longer correct to say japanimation . When the rules change again maybe I'll come back and edit my posts on this thread. Now can we get back to the whole "screw you HG/Toynami" thing? EDIT: Damn I went smilie crazy there...

Now there's an oxymoron Yune's art is very good, but calling it anime is an insult now maybe I'm judging too quickly, from just a few RT comic-covers posted here and the MPC-boxes but it's US comic book style, no doubt about that anime style? Should it have a hyphen? anime-style? I'm aware that he's not a true manga artist in the faithful sense of the word.

I have nothing against Yune's art. He's one of the better anime style Americans out there when it comes characters. Toynami's lucky they didn't get Ben Dunn or Adam Warren.

Sorry MSW, but that's utter BS. I wouldn't care what company a toy came from. All I care about is that feeling of awe when I open up a new box of a toy that I wanted so bad. I had that exact feeling when I first got the Golion set in the 80's. The same feeling I got when I recently got the 1/48 and the MCPrime. A feeling that was seriously lacking when I got Toynami MCP and the Yamato VF-1D. I belive I had no opinion based on Toynami yet when I got the MCP. I remember getting the box in the mail and I was so excited. So am I saying I'm not biased? Hell no. I've seen other toys produced by them and it continues to reaffirm my biased opinion. I'm gonna check out the Alpha when it comes out, because I really want that as a toy. Yes I'm going to be biased but with a glimmer of hope that I will be wrongabout them this time. But for now that Voltron toy is just fugly. ADD: Yes I know that's just my opinion and I can respect yours. I just don't like it when people say that my opinion was formed because I post on this board and not on some other pro-Toynami camp.

Sometimes a company buys rights to a property and creates little publicity to get more money to get it made or resell their contracts for even more money. I don't know how they get the names attached, but I've seen a couple of these before. I saw one for the comic book Preacher and it had Ben Affleck and Charlize Theron on it. The posters were about this cheesy. That maybe what this is.

JM, I don't think anyone was calling you a thief. My suggestion was to do a little more footwork to legitimize your project. You are asking us for our trust and I believe there are some people here that would support you now, but think how many more would back you if they felt 100% positive that their act of good will reach the people that need it. As I said before, good luck and hopefully your successful in your venture.
