    If you look at the list of backers, most of them have over 50 projects pledged to. I made up the term "habitual backers" but that was just the short way of saying that there's not a lot of people there that specifically went to Kickbacker for the first time just to back RT:A. Well, so much for the short way of saying it. Funny that most of the announcements on the comments are made by Robotechx... and not even written ALL CAPS. Love the way HG keeps their hands clean by sending out drones.

    I think people should just go to the panel to repeatedly chant "Macross! Macross! Macross!..." I'd back a kickstarter that would support that project.

    I didn't realize that there was 2 eps per day... and they skipped the week after the debut. Why not just show the 3rd episode on the following week? And where's Asami?

    I've noticed that a lot of people that do back the project are almost habitual backers. They probably see the words Robotech and remember something that they haven't thought about in years. But that's probably exactly what HG is counting on.

    check out this post up top and it tells you how to get back to the mobile version. Going back to top... you just need to touch the top of the frame and it takes you back up. This works on almost every app that has a scroll. I wish they had something that took you to the bottom.

    Just saw the video... I thought the illustration of the moon was an exaggeration, sorta like a Disneyland map. I didn't realize that that school was really suppose to be that big on the surface of the moon. I'm pretty sure that would throw it off the orbit. lol. The great thing about the original 3 animation were the real world setting it was in. I don't remember anything that, for a lack of a better word, "cartoony". I mean, there's a perfectly good planet just above them, that's the whole point of going to Mars isn't it? To be honest, I wasn't really a big fan of Creavision's work on that short, but hopefully they got paid ahead of time for the work they did for that video. For $500k, I'd expect either 24 mins of Space Battleship Yamato quality if cell animated or something like Kawamoris' Armored core opening movie if it's CG type show. I wouldn't hold my breath for either though...

    Second season is already greenlit... Previews are set for October and will start airing early 2015. I'd be interested how successful it was fr Netflix also.

    I can't think of a way to answer this without someone else taking it to a political level... and no, not because someone posted Nixon.... I'm just keep thinking of the cost of manufacturing in China isn't what it was before. Oh well, without getting into details, I guess I'll just watch the thread and make sure it stays in line.

    If the KS succeeds, where they going to put all the people that signed up to get their likeness on screen. I'm guessing this is going to be 22 minutes about the day the academy got their class picture taken.

    absolutely against the rules... In fact it was T-Rex that asked me to stop recasting their side cover parts from the GBP that led to that rule... lol. That led to me making my own... This is absolutely true also. The fact that people can make their own parts really makes straight recasts unnecessary and another good reason to have the no recasts rule. It also protects the kit makers on this site. I believe that there will be 40... 20 of each color. But that's just a guess... I haven't seen an official announcement.

    It's a win-win for us, IMO... it the Kickstarter fails, who cares... if it succeeds... more popcorn!

    I love the combat sequences... it's shot almost like that documentary style that BSG went for. Love this series. Ep. 4 and the final one are such treats.

    I really liked the movie but Great movie though... more than a popcorn movie and an exciting watch. I like it almost as much as the first. I'm hoping they skip the Charlton Heston movie and just say that it's a smaller story integrated into a larger one because you can never remake that movie and make the same impact. Maybe have scenes intercut with the Heston character in the background via CG with the real movie. But like I mentioned, it seems like with this movie, they just want to stay in prequel land instead of moving it further into the proper Planet Of The Apes timeline.
