  1. Here you go cobywan... I colored it so it would make a good BG. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/uploads/po...-1080862886.jpg
  2. Probably not... if you look at the preliminary designs they were just hideous. I'm glad they kept working on it. It would have been amazing if they would have reached the point they were at during DYRL?. But given the budget limitation it would have never really mattered.
  3. just wait for it to start.
  4. Is it this one? Sorry I kinda messed with it a bit (colored and shrank it). I have the book but it didn't contain the poster. But I think he wants a physical poster not a file.
  5. I don't get it... you guys move fanart from here to the fanart section and when it's posted in the fanart section you move it here. Regardless if it's Macross. What's the correct way to post stuff?
  6. Legality aside, the issue here is the site owner's (our host) wish to not make this the place where people would naturally look for unauthorized recasts. Recasting as a subject (and as merchandise) on MW was pretty common concerning the armors and boosters of the 1/55 Bandais. But since the reissues and the release of the 1/48, attention has shifted to unavailable resin kits. The difference between the 1/55 recasts and the new projects was that the 1/55 recasters had their own sites. And with the new kit recasts, it seems like MW is their home. (I'm not laying blame or anything, I have an order down for the Konig. I'm just pointing out a fact.) I don't think MW is a haven of unauthorized recasts. But I think Shawn just wants to keep it from becoming one. Thanks.
  7. When you first post (I'm not sure you can attach when editting) there's an File Attachment box below the box you're typing in. Next to it is a Browse button. That will lead you to an explorer window where you can choose your file.
  8. Erm....(raises hand), damn it I know, but not sure if I'm allowed to tell or not. This is frustrating sometimes. Graham IIRC, you already told us it was done using CAD.
  9. damn Phyrox... you're johnny-on-the-spot with the images today!!!
  10. I can't see crap... just a bunch of xs
  11. something tells me you've thought this out...
  12. I liked the 1st 2 Batman movies. What ya find wrong with them? Ahh...I will eternally love the Batwing and Batmobile scenes. On a slightly off topic note, who has seen Batman: Dead End ? Its a million dollar budget fan made Batman movie which is about 10 minutes long. Very cool! They included Predator and Aliens in it....all done by fans. I'm not a big Tim Burton fan and I thought Michael Keaton was not the right choice. Don't think i was close minded when the movie opened. I was really stoked, but a lot of things bugged me. like the fact that old Batty couldn't turn his neck. I think its the best Batman movie to date, I just didn't think it was all that. The costume, aside from the neck, on the first one was awesome though. But the one in Dead End was a lot better.
  13. Hi guys, LSB started a topic here about his illustration http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...=0entry122560 it'd be cool if we took it there so he can bask in his well deserved glory... and we can talk about the... what the hell were we talking about again???
  14. I think the batmobile was the only thing I liked about the Tim Burton Batman. Except for that nub infront of the jet intake, it was very cool. The Schumaker one just blew chunks!
  15. What about The Ewoks and Droid cartoons. Also the two Endor mini-serieses. (kinda bugged me that they had horses, when the movies tried so hard to have no earth-based animals in it, except humans )
  16. dammit Bsu! You and your wonderful links... $_$
  17. ah... there it is! Great design! I asked about your influences bacause I saw a hint of Shirow on the legs especially the the feet. And some Mospeada (also judging by your username) on the arms. The head I think is what most people wonder about. Is it purposely suppose to resemble a woolly mammoth? That's how I expected the rest of it to look like. Anyway great illo, especially the likeness to River Phoenix (circa Mosquito Coast I presume) let us know if there are more to gander at. A nice additon to this section!
  18. I don't think any of those toys exist... it's the same way I feel about the Holy Grail... It's more of what my ultimate fantasy toys would be. Any links to that 2ft. Sulaco? Probably cost a bundle now.
  19. yeah yeah! Where he has a mane attached to the back of his head... My post on this thread made me think about it...
  20. What's that armor that Brieareos wears, the one that makes him look like a landmate, called? Anyone? Anyone?
  21. Very funny. No. it's a design of my own. I´m too shy to show the full version, but to put an end to the speculation here it is. Please be kind, all of you, it's my firs time at MW. That's beautiful, LSB. I remember when you said it was your design and I believed it. For some reason I thought it was some kind of Mammoth-like Zoid, but the full version blows me away. Who are your influences. Maybe you should post it at the Fanart section so we can discuss it fully. Thanks for sharing... Oh who's the guy? Looks like River Phoenix.
  22. Actually, Max can wear a tutu and still run circles around anything that flies.
  23. I gave my gummy 1S pilot to Rohby a while back but I took it back. He was suddenly inundated with recasts of the TV hands that were in high demand. Also, I wanted to find the gummy material similar to the one the originals are made of. Maybe we can take up that project again. Hehe. Lucky for you guys I want the same things as most of you and Rohby is willing to spend the time. Hopefully he's up for this one.
  24. UNSpacy, is that the real thing??? Cuz I love it!!!
