On the last episode prior to this one Michelle shot a guest in the hotel because he was attempted to leave and could have risked infection to the general public. In this episode CDC finally makes it to the hotel and is testing everyone but Gael, who is put in seclusion so that no one could see him deteriorate. Later on Michelle visits Gael who is the late stages of the infection and offers him a gun to end his suffering. Gael, due to his religious beliefs, refuses and Michelle leaves him with the fear of knowing what will eventually happen to her. After a little while Gael dies. Michelle and Tony have a few words over the phone regretting how they left each other before she went off to the field. Jack and Chase finds out who is behind the whole thing. An ex-British spy that jack had worked with and it turns out that during an assignment, Jack had to abandon him and now he's back for revenge. Jack picks up a madame that the bad guy used (they blackmailed her VIP clientelle) to fund this op. She and the whole British Agency was wiped out by a helicopter that machinegunned the whole office. (Just like in Top Secret the helo gets everyone but the good guys and Jack and Chase get away.) Out of leads they return to the man that released the virus in the hotel and he was able to identify the villain himself. David and his brother was being blackmailed by the bad guy . His first demand was for the Pres to call a news conference and say the words "The Sky is falling" His next demand... kill Chappelle, the man in charge of CTU. Damn, wrote this whole thing then I had to go do somehting... I'll post it anyway...

I am now starting the Valk-Exchange program. For everyone unhappy with their 1:48 Valkyries, if you send it to me I will gladly exchange it for one 1:60, 1:55 or even a 1:72 Hasegawa of your choice*. Shipping is on me. Legal Mumbo Jumbo: Not affiliated with the Valkyrie Exchange in any way, but I met Kevin a couple of times before and he seems like a nice guy. Only knuckleheads would take this offer seriously. *You get to choose if you want a 1:60, a 1:55 or a 1:72 valk, but I get to choose the type if you're dorky enough to agree to it. Let's face it. The 1:48 rules, and anyone that says otherwise is blind.

Exo, See, that is the thing here. If the fins fold in, then the design problem is solved with regard to Macross, but still means we need a solution for the 1/48 Yamato. Either a slot, bulging leg armor, or everyone that wants a VF-1AG armor set has to get their 1/48 Yamato modified so the leg fins can fold. If it is true that the leg fins can fold, I would love to see proof, otherwise it's not substantiated. Sincerely, Christopher If no one posts it before I get home tonight, I'll be sure to post it. I can guarantee it because Fulcy and I were discussing the very thing while I was staring at the book.

I don't have the book on hand, but IIRC the fins fold in while the armor is on. I can only assume Yamato never anticipated making a GBP armor when they designed the 1:48. But somehow they incorporated it into the 1:60 just fine although they look a tad big, it not at all distracting. Those armors are bulky anyway.

This guy is pretty good, he can scratchbuild also...

If expensive toys isn't your thing then how'd you end up here?
-
who's the guy in the pic?
-
Yes! Tell us about it!!!
-
I thought everyone had that minmay doll... Singtao was selling it for $20 in the For Sale Section when it was on ebay for $60. Marcia's Locker rules!
-
I'd like to see what the blind guy bumpedhis head on!
-
But that would cut their clientelle by half... we all know half of their customers get the toys becasue of the boxes!

This is my favorite of all that I've seen here. Gene, you a lucky mofo! Jung, you're a freak! No, you're a customizing superfreak! The kind you don't take home to mother!

Holy Crap. That's awesome!!! You can see all the front page art from way back... Of course I'm partial to this one: http://web.archive.org/web/20021208182502/.../_main_menu.htm

Obviously, not from L.A... that saying hasn't been true nice the 80's. It takes 45 to more than an hour to get across town now, even on Sunday nights. Ahhh... what Jack won't do for his country.
-
It took the CDC two hours to get to the hotel and how long did it take for Jack to get to L.A. from Mexico??? Otherwise, another good episode. I like that they put Michelle in the center of the story. Also, it was a nice touch how they connected the villain to Jack.

Bandai owns the molds but didn't renew the license to produce them, boss. Just like Hasegawa owns their 1/72 scale molds to the Valkyrie fighters but didn't renew it. They may still renew it but as of now they they are not licenced to produce any more. (IIRC)

Looks great so far... Awesome work, BoB!

Make that four. Animenewsnetwork just confirmed that the new CG Appleseed indeed the first movie of an Appleseed CG trilogy. Whaddya think about that? ...

Tom's correct. I got those pics from the Magazine section. A lot of those customs are made scratch from styrene sheets, styrene rods, and plenty of putty. There are a lot of members here that are pretty good at it. Check out Fulcy's shoulder armor for his 1:48 AG project. It's made from styrene and will be fully recastable.

If you haven't seen those then maybe you haven't seen this one either...

These are built by amateur modellers, not by Hasegawa themselves. It would be interesting to see how you get around the small wings on the lower legs. That's usually where people end up halting their projects. Term "amateur" used loosely!
-
Are you talking about the GBP armor? AFAIK they have made the Elint and Ostrich armor (and those don't have missiles.) I don't know of anyone that is scratchbuilding any for the Hasegawa right now, but such projects have been accomplished by Japanese hobbyists. Here's 2:

wow! that's almost an exact match!

*LOL* At first I didn't know what you meant by that comment. Looks like the website doesn't allow external image linking. BTW, DA's female cast is choice! Yes... I likes the idea of Elisha Cuthbert in that tight red suit. And that Yumi chick is... well... yummy!!! ^ __ ^ two words every cast should include: JESSICA BIEL!!! lol... she's too well developed for that prepubescent story.
