Ledger??? I like Heath Ledger but not as Bond. I'd rather see sissy boy, Everett like Ladic suggested. I've got a bad feeling about this.

I'm asking because last week there was a lot of hooplah concerning Britney Spears demanding to be a Bond girl and that Brosnan said that it wouldn't work. He said he rather have Keira Knightley or Monica Bellucci as the next Bond girl. But if you do a search for those articles, it seemed that they have all been deleted from most of the entertainment sites. I was kinda ready for one last Brosnan Bond film.

What I doubt is that Yamato was ever pushing hard to supply swapp-able heads. I doubt they would have done so even if BW had said yes. And, yes, I'm saying it's entirely possible that Yamato "passed the buck" to BW. Instead of angering the community, they can just say: "Well, we wouldn't have been allowed to do so, even if we wanted to. . . sorry." Not exactly a lie. More like spin. H HEY! Upon closer inspection, I can't tell if that's an arrow for the text referring to the fin or an arrow representing the action of the fin. Hopefully someone can translate it for you and it can help you out on your project. I understand that it inconsequential to people that wouldn't want to alter their 1:48s, but according to Fulcy he was more concerned with accuracy at the time during the discussion. (We were actually discussing the GBP armor from the other thread you mentioned earlier on this thread.) Anyway, good luck and hopefully this can help you out in some manner.

Uh..Big West scrapped the head idea, not Yamato. I've always been doubtful of this. . . but even granted that Big West said no. . . that doesn't necessarily mean that Yamato would have said yes. For all the reasons already espoused. H So you're saying that Yamato lied to Graham? The topic about the head was discussed heavily and that's how it turned out. It wasn't a rumor or speculation. I mean the whole Macrossworld was watching. And PLEASE Hurin, don't get into a quoting frenzy with me on this. There's no old board to search and even then I wouldn't go thru the trouble.

The problem with having a black Spidey, Venom, or maybe even Carnage is that studios prefer to change the look of the character enough so that marketing dollars will go thru them first before it goes to the owners of the license. a pure black Spidey would be hard to alter enough for them to claim as a new design. I actually applaud Raimi for keeping the classic spidey pattern and he didn't go with the Alex Ross design, even though it looked great. Hopefully he can sway the studios to go for the story rather than worry about marketing $$, if he's even interested in the symbiote story line.

There's a couple of shots that looked totally CG, like when he jumped on the windowsill. But I'd take this over the horrible Nicholas Hammond version from the 70's. YUCK!
