    yup... I'm all for doing away with unnecessary extras but tampo isn't one of them. All the necessary tampo improves the looks by 50%.

    He can use some of that money to get maid, unless their skeleton is in that sty somewhere. I like how he blamed that console gamer guy on the failure of the Kickstarter... I'm not sure he mentioned MW... I skipped thru it. Let's face it, the only ones that would watch that whole thing are the die hard Robotech fans and only some not all. I think he fails to recognize the robotech fans that also want quality stuff. There's groups in Facebook that have formed that don't want what HG pushes but are loyal to their fandom. There's people that love the Robotech Masters and New Generation that have grown tired of HG pushing the Macross merchandise and neglecting that part of the fandom. The video portrays all Robotech fans as victims because he thinks most still expect great things from HG and have enjoyed everything that HG has ever released but it's the exact same hubris that he's accusing the other side. The whole "speak for yourself" that he's throwing at the Console gamer guy applies to him also.

    Here's Udon's Panel. Tommy practically hijacks the panel til they run out of time and then during the Q&A... NoooOne asks anything about Robotech... skip to around the 10 min. mark.

    The Flightpose had the paint wearing issue plus compared to the original, they aren't as good in quality. The original had a solid base with the black tip. The new one had instances of cracking where the screws went. They're priced well but the ones (I think it was Sithlord that use to sell them) were freakin solid. Got a few myself.

    If it was T-Rex then it'd be extra dubious because they only have the license to sell 20x2 at the show. It's not really unfair seeing how it would cost someone how much to go to Japan just to get it. Over priced? Not if it sells. Greedy? Yeah. Unfair? Not the word I would use... lol.

    Seems like the common question among fans now about is why this KS was so poorly planned... there's one simple answer, it's HG! And it goes beyond just those failed series. It also branches out into the toys and media. I don't have one Toynami item left in my collection, save for the Beagle Mospeada. Because they used the cheapest materials that exploded to dust in time. I supported them when they first started, but they continually failed at making my money worth it. DVDs that cracked before you opened them, toys that were late and not worth the wait, and I can't speak for the animations but from the trailers, teasers and reviews I knew I didn't have the stomach to watch them. But I still think the Robotech fans that still has an ounce of faith should give ALL their money to them. Let's get it over with once and for all. It's all or nothing folks... support it now and never whine about it later...

    Well, I have to admit... they did have news. I said they should have shown new mecha. No matter how bad it looks, at least they showed something new. (I'd have preferred all 3 modes though.)

    It's not hard to misconstrue when they're saying 2 things at different times. From the update, it seems like it's pretty clear... "All or nothing" "will not be produced"... I wasn't there at the panel but if you can either give us direct quotes or elaborate on exactly what they said that would agree with those quotes above and tie cohesively with the fact that they said they'll still try to get it going if it fails... maybe I'll be able to understand it.

    How is a voice actor that's already been active on the selling of the KS funding reading lines news? Apparently that was their big reveal on Thursday. If I was those guys I'd lock that Ceasar dude in his hopefully free hotel room and make him design a new valk... errr.... veritech to be revealed on Saturday. All three forms! That's news! Giving the guy some cliche lines to be read in front of some toys in the HG offices? That's just made up on the spot. It'd be better if they didn't run the video and tell everyone it's actual ADR to be laid on the actual animation. The one that they're going to do anyway, whether or not the Kickstater is successful. People should really stop worrying... It's gonna happen anyway... can someone that paid to comment put that on their KS comments section? "Don't worry guys... Tommy said at the SDCC panel that it's going to happen whether or not this gets funded!"

    If you live blog, this will be the only place it happens... I checked out RT.com and RTx.com for the first time in years... I don't think anyone has posted in those places in months. $180,608 currently... $1324 for the day...

    Everyone I know asks the same question. I don't know why they just leave that part of the costume off and put it back in via CG. They do it for Ironman... they did it for Winter Soldier's arm also. I guess that's one reason Marvel movies are kicking ass... common sense.

    I don't know man... those news articles basicly said that Agrama and the former Italian Prime Minister ran a global scam for decades then were aquitted of all charges... if they were involved in that then scamming a small funding site wouldn't be a problem... lol.
