I wonder how many "Perfect Figures" they are making. It would be nice to display one in front of each of my Eva SOC. IIRC there was an Asuka one. How many mangas are there suppose to be? Also... does the one being distributed from Diamond come with an english manga???

Yeah Gemcos and Fedcos were packed with toys. Especially Fedco. All the Gemcos closed in 1986 (did a little research) and the one on Firestone and Garfield in Downey became a Target right away. It was the first Target I've ever heard of. I remember I stood there for what seemed liek hours trying to decide which Alpha I wanted. But the threat of pick one or you'll none made me grab the green one. It had my favorite head design. I always thought I was going to come back for the other 2 but I never did. Took me longer than 15 years toget another one.

Yesterday, my sister in Law gave my 8 yr. nephew's MPC Prime to his little 2 yr. brother who is the living persona of destruction. My little nephew, who takes great care of his toys, ran to take it away from him, but his mother scolded him for not sharing. I, for one didn't speak up, because I believe you don't try to take control from the mother, it's just bad taste. But this! This one was on the line. Should I or shouldn't I. I mean I bought the toy for my nephew. Man, my nephew and I were sitting there sweating bullets. What should we do? The smaller nephew lifted the MPC and smashed it against the glass table. Nothing broke but my sister in law almost had a heart attack. And if she did, she probably deserved it. And the lucky thing for me would have been that I don't know CPR. Needless to say, my nephew got his MPC back that moment. And my sister in law gets the rocket scientist award of the month once again.

Come to think of it. I don't think Alex has been to the Shrine Con since the RT panel couple of years ago.

Yamato doesn't have to obey any rules except Big West's. The toys they produce are only for customers that reside in Japan. So they can produce whichever valk they want. Hence the M&Ms which are TV series valks exclusively. Yes, that doesn't explain the english language packing... Also: We have no idea if HG has the rights to DYRL or not. Everything you hear is speculation because there hasn't been an official realease from any companies about such rights. Maybe at AX we'll all find out.
