    Fengshui and address numbering is important in architecture also. Doesn't make it scientifically true. Dave don't get into which things teach on school, that can quickly get political and religious at same time.

    That's my point though. There's different reasons and occasions why bright vs. muted colors are used. The simplification of "because... Asians." Is laughable to me. I'm not offended but it's down right silly. Next time I watch knights of sidonia, I'll be sure to turn the contrast up. I must've mistakenly turned on the muted color filter by mistake.

    You're Macross enthusiasm is welcome but check the iTransference at the door. MW isn't your e-punching bag.

    The colors were done so you can distinguish each valk as the character, they're colored similarly to western comic book superheroes. But even then, Macross has very subdued colors that's accented with bright colors. Also what about the drab uniforms on Attack on Titan vs the bright uniforms on Star Trek?

    I don't think it's for developments. I think it secures their own salary for the duration of the project and hoping beyond. You just pad your check with extra titles on the production... lol.

Have you done a documentary before? It doesn't really matter because if this is your first then we'd still love to support the project.

    What's people's thoughts on how HG should move from here (if the KS eventually doesn't get funded)? I don't think that another KS would work because, what would they do? Ask for less money? That would raise suspicion on where the rest of the money was going to go in the first place, or it would look like they were just trying to score the almost 200k pledged and then deliver on what would be a guaranteed less than crappy production that no one would surely buy. Would they try to produce it on their own? Again... how? If they couldn't do that from the beginning. Are they stuck forever in comic book form and is that enough for them or for their fans?

    It's just clear blue over chrome over gloss black. All Tamiya acrylics... cool effect. I use it all the time.

    I don't expect them to. I believe they're going to keep trying to milk the license themselves... I was just thinking they need to turn their negative public image around because it's gone beyond Macross fans and dissatisfied Robotech fans. But again, it's all moot if they can't handle putting out a decent show or merchandise to take advantage of any good will that can be gained back.

    I agree 100%, but unfortunately we can't really strike down a member's post everytime they mention M7 even though you know it's going to devolve into a mess of a discussion. I am aware of two individuals that bring it up as a flame but honestly the other side take the bait so easily. On this very thread, AgentOne mentioned it on one post and people argued it for 3 pages before he even came back to make another post. That tells me that either people enjoy the discussion or they're just easy to flame. Some of it is relevant to the new series and is interesting but of course it's all mixed in with the argumentative posts.

    Thank you Sketchley for writing that... Seriously though... some people think that they are on the side of the complainers, when most likely other people are complaining about you (or me) at one time or another. And again... "the complainers" is not one entity... there's different people complaining about different things or people. For a group of smart people, this "tunnel vision" seem to affect every one. Yes, I mean everyone, as one lump sum.

    A lot of people get dissatisfied with this place because they can't separate the few times a small group of people actually agree with each other and drown out the voice of other people. But it's not a phenomena that exclusive to this place. Every forum I've gone to has this cliched reaction. But the way people react sometimes, you'd almost have to have a disclaimer for each and every post that says that the views of this poster does not reflect MacrossWorld, the staff, the owners, the poster above and under this one and their youtube cat. The thing only that does is turn off even more people. With all the efforts that I myself, Tochiro and others that contribute to this site put into making this place where people can seek out more knowledge about Macross and other similar subjects, it's rather offensive when someone talks about the whole site like it's a shitty place to go to because they don't agree with another group that has a common opinion. If your friends can't handle such events from a vocal minority then hopefully they've moved on to another forum. And if they think that that forum is utopia, then surprise... they're most likely the vocal minority there.
