    I did the exact same thing with the saddle bags and the side covers. I made my own and actually had the saddle bags connect to the Beagle Mospeada bikes with zero modifications needed. The VF-1 Side Covers were also modified to hold the shoulder hinges down... as long as they weren't a replica of the pieces sold by T-Rex. These are Wondefest exclusives so they'll be rare and official Big West products. Maybe they'll sell them a couple more times but they'll stop making them so I'm sure Kurisama can step in and sell to the people that didn't get a chance for these kits. Edit... ooops... took out a line... don't think I was suppose to say that.

    At this point, HG really has to recognize how generally disliked (to put it mildly) they are. I don't think they can move forward successfully without doing so. Unless they're perfectly happy just trudging along, they have to face their PR problems head on. And their PR guy is mainly there as a shield from all the crap being hurled at them and take responsibility for all the things they've said but have to walk away from. What I'm wondering now is will Robotech Academy become another unseen chapter in the Robotech continuity? I've never seen a franchise build an extended universe just on unreleased and unrealized materials. They can just keep releasing concepts and sell toys based on log lines and scriptments. Who's up for an MPC Drone Veritech? Shapeways replacement parts sold separately. Not intended for kids under 35. Similarities to other toys is purely coincidental and not intended.     SDCC has hundreds of panels though. I don't know how mechacon is but if it's small and it's focus is on mecha anime then there's a chance that the majority of attendees will go to the panel. Unless there's a Gundam panel at the same time. But again, it depends more or less on how strong the word of mouth is for that con. SDCC has a great reach, but you need to be at a big hall, during the day to attract a good attendance for your panel. 7pm... Most every one is at the Gas Lamp getting drunk already. But there's no con on the face of the earth that can turn the tides on that funding project... Sadly enough. Oh popcorn where art though.

    It's really time for me to decant my spray bottles. I saw a video that anime52k8 posted a while back, prolly the same one you watched. Before that, I just sprayed a can into a bottle... there was no mess, but I noticed it was fizzing, so I left it out for a few minutes and then put the lid on it. The next day I discovered it exploded all over the model I was painting... lol.

    Nope. those are all kits but they're colored resin, so you can just detail them up if you want, no major painting necessary. Except the Protoculture City. That looks like it would lots of painting. I think the Zentradi and Meltrandi fortresses are made of full color sandstone so, again... no painting is necessary.
