Wow, I hear the same about other MF figures. The Matrix Sentinel and the APU are real fragile too. I guess these are made for MISB collectors and that's it. My one beef with them is that they're not toys but statues with ridiculously placed articulation. But I would now just stay away from them since the plastic quality is so cheap. My other friend told me that the Alien Queen figure warps when it gets too hot... The Alien/Aliens property seems cursed...

uh... you haven't seen very many movies have you? I would gladly watch any of those movies 10 times for every 1 viewing of 2001: A Space Oddessey(sp)... Biggest. Snoozefest. Ever. Try reading the book, I'm with you that 2001 is quite borig, if you read the book a lot of things make sense, but to read an entire book for such a boring movie is not worth... 2010 is way more entertaining, in any case I mentiones Alien resurrection 'cause it's a complete POS, such movie should be burned with the director... what a looser..... don't bother... Max can't be turned... lol... I love 2001.

arent the laser turrets white and just the barrels are black/gunmetal? If it's a traditional Yamato look you're after, it'be easier just to paint the cannons the darker color.

I don't believe it. but it would be cool if true. It looks like people agree more than before... welling is clark Kent. I never seen this much excitement over casting him for every Supes role. I never heard this many rumors when Dean Cain was Superman and when that other Superboy show was on. And the movie has always been in development.

Wow... looks like an original, except for the white lasers. The visors can be tinted for customs also, or left clear to be painted with translucent paint by the customizer. Finally I can put the heads back on...

That would be awesome. I doubt it would be McFaralne cuz I think you're talking about articulated figures like GI Joes. McFarlane already has 12" predator and Aliens figures. Again these are preposed with limited and unecessary articulation. Also, these would be out of scale with other 12" figures because predator would be a good 14" to look correct necxt to a normal 12" figure.

The buns on her head are recasted from asuka's head. It's amazing how he finds parts that are proportioned... I wonder where he's situated. Maybe he can bring all his Macross stuff (and anything else he wants to bring) to the next Macross Con. But judging from the buttage on that Minmay, I'd say he's from Brazil...

Macross was the secinf most popular show at one time after Gundam, but all the new shows that are coming out have already overshadowed it. In the US, Cartoon Network and Tech TVs have pushed Evangelion, Inuyasha into the forefront of anime. Not to mention Disney's support of the Studio Ghibli films. Another thing that weakens Macross's popularity is that it's split by the Robotech factor. A lot of people that watched robotech still don't know what Macross truly is. I have a friend visit me last week that noticed my art books and even though the books don't have the name Robotech on it, he still called it by that name. I was shocked because here's a guy that works with web sites and the internet, yet he hasn't touched upon the subject of Macross vs RT. I'm not starting an age old argument. I'm just trying to explain a huge deterrence to Macross's true potential. This and Skull Leader's explanation are 2 big factors to Macross's lack of popularity. I'm sure if the majority of the fans were given what they want, which is a follow up to the original love triangle, the fandom would pick up a bit more. But I got a feeling that's just too cliche for the Hory froating head. In any case I'm up for anything that comes next after Zero...

I've seen 34 of these movies and liked half of the ones I've seen. The God's Must Be Crazy was good, but... RED DAWN rulez!!! WOLVERIIIIINNES!!!!

I know I'm not that interested in the toy, only because of it's size. But as soon as I see the box I'll prolly pick it up. I'm becoming more and more of a box collector. If they ever built a bigger one that doesn't come apart, I'll open it for sure.
