  1. Hey Gobotfool, it looks like they are reissuing Leader One... That figure on the Garland looks familiar... a Takara blank Microman???
  2. So these are not the BGC that Yamato is making... any word on which series they are based on Howard? 2040 or the original? There's a debate going on in the other section. I'm thinking it's 2040 based on Rinna's suit. Either way it's a lovely sculpt and bigger than Yamato's small figure is great news also, though I'm sure I want that one too. Hopefully he can get someone to manufacture it and soon. Great news indeed. And a 1/48 GBP pipelined is another thing to look forward too... hope it materializes...
  3. Elisha Cuthbert?
  4. I usually pull off the missile launchers off the FPs before transforming. I think that's about it.
  5. Is that what you were trying to do? Looked far more like you were blowing hot air & wasting bandwidth. You think you're right because you say so, you think I'm wrong because of whatever inane reason you choose to dissagree, and in the end, you're a hypocrite condemning me of having an obstinate opinion while displaying one yourself. And this has what to do with the topic at hand??? Bottom line, I never said the old studio edit should be whiped off the face of the Earth (just pointed out that it has been). I merely asked why anyone would want to bother with it in the face of better versions being available. If you can't accept that, then bite me. Dude, get over it... it's done... I stopped responding when I read your response at the joke I made about your mispelling... I can't believe you took that serious... then I knew you were just out to counter everything I posted... regardless what it is... joke or serious... yet you try to bait a new argument... I tried to bring up new points but you just reitierate the same points over and over... you got nothing...
  6. He knows too... he started that thread..
  7. the people on that show admitted to only watching Macross when the DVDs came out. They weren't really hard core fans, though they are new fans. The GERWALK/skiing story is getting old... lol. Gotta tell Egan... hehe... hmmm, they just ran the commercial for the interview... obviously on a loop... yeah I'm still listening...
  8. Why did you post in model kits Rich??? LOL... If it's for the MPC, are you gonna sacrifice your gun for it? If it was held together by a screw like the Gakken it would be cool, but damn Toynami and their glue, no way I would do it to mine...
  9. I' too am not to cautious with my transformations. You just have to know the toy well, to know how to handle it. The worst thing that happens is the heatshield comes off once and a while, but I haven't any need for any BP8s yet.
  10. Egan runs the Macross Compendium and an editor for Animerica.
  11. We're not really interested in any dealings with ARAFAT... In fact you're persistence is starting to make you look suspect... No I don't think you're ARAFAT... he had terrible english. But his tactics to get back into the mix here are quite famous... or should I say infamous?
  12. The only bad toys I consider falling victim to even though I knew they were not up to standard was the Yamato GBP, Ostrich and Elint. It goes back to the fact when I didn't get the Bandais when I could. I figure if I really don't like these toys I can sell them later, instead of bothering to hunt them down after I change my mind and decided that I did want them. The climate of toy collecting has changed due to the internet, specifically because of ebay and boards like this. I feel that the people that are interested in a certain toy but fail to react are the ones losing out. It's easier to get rid of unwanted toy than to buy one at cost after its no longer in production. Yeah sure there's more Alphas on the horizon, but for how long? I don't really care to make profit from my toys, having never sold one yet. But I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices later when it's way beyond what it's really worth. Of course I don't recommend this to everyone, it's still a costly game...
  13. lol, I realized that... While I was copying and pasting resposes, I was thinking, WTF did I get myself into? There's only one word for it... diriculous.... yes, I'm aware of the spelling...
  14. She's part of the Marvel Universe, specifically the X-Men continuity... yeah... why the hell would horny fanboys be attracted to a half naked chick with big boobs???
  15. Wow... Now I know why Hurin does it... It's kinda fun... ANYWAY...
  16. Irregardless maybe a word, but Merriem Websters is not a dictionary... You're question of "why" was never interested in an answer (as if it isn't obvious yet ) but rather it was a rhetorical query that suggests that the need to watch such version was an unecessary venture, thus you implicate yourself. I've seen your GIFs, sir... I'm pretty sure you know nothing about artistic integrity. If the original artists saw what you did to their artwork, they just as soon jump into their graves just so they can turn in it. I don't know why you keep bringing up Terry Gilliam. I hope you know they're not the same person. But then again you only want to see what you want. Perhaps the fact that Ridley Scott wants to include the original cut in the definitive version, says something about his views on it, perhaps not. You're the one jumping to conclusions on what it all means. If you cared so little then why do you feel compelled to argue. Cheap insults?... like if your not doing the same thing by adding little descriptions on my retorts, such as "hissy fits" and "whining". Belittling my repies does not make yor more valid. And talk about the pot caling the kettle black, like I said, I've read your posts before and you always take the first steps toward profanity, that's the only reason I'm not afraid to use insults. Were it was anyone else, I'd use more tact and restraint. See my first paragraph on this post. And yeah... Bent. Out. Of. Shape... discombobulated... out of composure... but hardly a challenge... By any definition, if a studio does not force some artists to finish their product by a certain limit, the artist may never even finsh the film ever.... see George Lucas and Stanley Kubrick. And who do you think funds the director's cut? Ah. So then you're not complaining right now that you can't see the old studio edit of the movie? What are you retarded? I'm complaining about a movie that was released. Completed and canned... Not about some whim. Oh... so who's doing the implying now? I have nothing against an artist's version of a film. I've said it so many times. But blind as always, you skip that part, or maybe it's just not convenient for your argument... Nope, haven't seen it, though I'm curious, was it the director who made the changes? Yes... you should really check it out... despite what Ewilen says... Actually, it was released as a 155 min. film, but due to a poor run it was cut to 120, the version that got critical acclaim... then the intended 170 min version was released in 2002. Anyway!!! Dude... there's no stick up my ass... and even if I enjoyed such deviance (which I don't) it would really be unsanitary, knowing where it's been... I know there's a "we"... You know there's a "we"... But if you ignore it, you're gonna get burned... Nazis??? Oh yeah they're the ones that implicated another group as an evil culture... how ironic... you implicating me by comparing me to them... don'tcha think?
  17. Ahahaha... I can respect personal opinions, Ewilen. Especially if you state it as such. I for one won't impose on you what a great movie I think it is. I've seen Delicatessen and Ran. Not Diva. I'll look for that one. The other two are exceptional movies, IMO.
  18. It's the same Millia we have been looking at.
  19. Where am I doing it myself? I said I wanted to see it, not that everyone else should also... Or even worse, I never said that people shouldn't see such versions. That's when you're implying your opinion on everyone else. I've read everything there is about the film. Artistic integrity is for the artist himself, not for the zombies that follows after them. Have you seen the version of Legend that they released? (now there's a comparison that matters...) It has both versions that was made. One that he intended, and the one the studio preferred at the time. WITH RIDLEY SCOTT'S SIGNATURE ON THE BOX. Now the article that Milkman X said that he intended to release the box set with ALL versions of Bladerunner on it. So what happened to his integrity based on your unsolicited opinion? I've read enough of your posts to know that your an over imposing ass that won't stop until you think that your point is taken as valid, even though it's just people getting sick of arguing with you stubborn repetitiveness. You can label it as "whining" all you want, when really you are the one that is obviously so bent out of shape about everything that it's hard to get yourself shaped back to reason. Uh... yeah. Watching both versions... that was my point... and I want to see the intended true cut also. So now you're saying I should watch both versions, when at first you got bent out of shape for me wanting to? Make up your tilted mind. Dude, have you heard of this place called Hollywood? A place where people's vision get's screwed all the time by producers who hold the budget for said projects? You watch these movies all the time you think they all get out without a hitch and Ridley Scott and Terry Gilliam are the only victims? Classics and flops gets made with said arguments all the time. Whether it be because of budgets or time constraints. What reality do you live in? And yes, I am spoonfed by the movies. I just sit there and watch it. I don't start to argue with the screen and act like a lunatic when I disagree with the production results. It's a movie... If they come out with another version, I'll pick it up if I liked the original. And I'll decide for myself which I prefer. Not some interview or insider information that I happen to find about on the net. You just don't see how much of a zombie you are. Even though you think you formulated an opinion, it really was made up for you and you don't even know it. Have you seen Cinema Paradiso? It was the best foreign made movie of all time. It stood as a classic for many years based on the movie that was released. Recently a director's cut was made, does that negate the fact that the original was a classic all that time? In fact the newer cut was a travesty to the film that stood as the beloved form it was in. The mystery was taken away, yet this was what the director originally intended. I'm not even going to bother what your opinion was on that film, IF you have seen it. I'm sure I already read some article that expresses the exact same thoughts that you think you made up for yourself. Get a clue Keith. You're word is not final, but if you're happy thinking that way then keep doing what your doing. I'm sure we'll be just as happy laughing at you while you're blind to the fact...
  20. Jason's in San Diego now... It was your page that brought me here, redemption... guess I have you to blame...
  21. I can't belive you linked to that site...
  22. not to mention it was Hikaru's flight suit, not her own.... hmmmm... and now they are seperated....
  23. They were axed because they didn't allow toys that ejected plastic projectiles. None of the Americanized 80's takatoku/Gakken molds had them. The missilles for the GU-11 (Jetfire), Stick's arm missilles, the Leggios gun and the Macross' planes were are taken out or disabled.
