That I agree with. Unfortunately they did have plenty of time to get the GBP perfect, and even delayed it a few months, but still failed to improve it any more. It's not bad, but could have been much better at the same time. They were smoking crack when they made that GBP.

I would only get this at 1:72 scale. There's no use getting it for the 1:48 because there isn't a lot of detail and only looks good in one mode. There's a huge difference between this and say, a Thunder Hammer, a GBP, or the Stampede where it only works in one mode but is loaded with detail, moveable and removeable parts and doesn't take up as much space. (On that note, I wouldn't get a stampede anyway, cuz it's butt ugly.)

Captain Cook And The World Of Tomorrow... I like it! It all depends on what you're looking for. There's not a lot of substance in the story, but it's done intentionally to emulate the simplified stories of that era. Just remember that back then we haven't seen all the twists and turn of every script yet, so a simple script sufficed. But the visuals were good. The acting was good. The lines weren't corny. and um... the visuals were good... but not in an in your face MTV type thing. Just don't forget the popcorn.

No, it doesn't count. I have had 3 different girlfriends since Zero first came out, and I showed each one of them the first episode... After the episode I wanted to explain the signifigance of the alien spaceship. All three chicks said the same thing, "what spaceship?" Thus far MZero has nothing to do with anything Macross. Unless some connection shows up in this last episode I will be FUKIN PISSED! Well there's Roy and the VFs... but storywise... I agree.
