  1. SAW looks like a fun movie... but then again I like watching Cary Elwes getting tortured ever since the pit of despair....
  2. Awww, I can't believe people are crying about unoriginaltiy when comic book movies have been lacking before X-Men and Blade. Sure we got Superman and Batman. But that was it. Comic book was a source waiting to be tapped and it just needed the right technology for them to brought to the screen. But if you want to see originality, you have the Incredibles comig out next month! So the argument that Hollywood is unoriginal is... well it's still valid. But you gotta be kidding me when someone like Singer, who's already proven himself, has still no room for reasonable doubt in people's minds. You guys are just whining for the sake of whining.
  3. Me too, but the secretary next door ran off with the peanutbutter when she saw me coming with the leather chaps for her...
  4. If you're gonna pray, pray hard... but do it softly, you might wake the admins....
  5. And now after seeing the movie they obviously DID have an agenda. The Grand Old emPire Strikes Back! I think you're the one with an agenda A1.
  6. More like Blade of the immortal and that freak who had those 2 women heads stitchehed to his shoulders... gross... That was Kuroi Sabato.... his name meant Black Sabbath. That's exactly what I thought of when I saw that!
  7. I'm sure they'll use SC characters though. Hopefully they bring along Marie and Nova. I liked SC for the armor designs, military structure and for 2 of their mechs. The Hover tanks and the AJAX. In the Robotech Art books there's a cool pic of Dana with short hair and a kickass hoverbike, IIRC.
  8. I think it was Gunbuster that said it was crap...
  9. Well, as I feel that The Oak is the closest thing humans have to Jesus or God, it really wouldn't make sense to have him play some character with god-like powers. Seriously though, there are a ton of other actors that I like, I mean come on... Like Van Damme, Carl Weathers, Jesse Ventura, or anyone else in Predator. Little known fact: VD was the original predator, he was replaced before the final cut. Even less known fact: Shane Black (Hawkins) wrote Lethal Weapon at the age of 22. His script for the Last Boyscout was the first to break the one million dollars mark and was sold for 1.75 million dollars. He also wrote Last Action Hero for The Oak, his co-star for Predator. He's considered to be a pioneer of the modern action films.
  10. it's on their site as the SDF-4... I didn't even recognize it as an Izumo at that angle....
  11. In Singer We Trust... I'm glad he's keeping the theme... that just great news... it defines Superman so well... Here's Routh as Supes/Kent for Halloween
  12. I fail to see how more Robotech could affect your love of Macross since this is going to essentially be a sequel to Mospeada. It's not going to be a sequel to Mospeada, it's gonna pick up where the Mospeada portion of Robotech left off. You don't think they're gonna mine the Macross saga? You think Rick Hunter and Lisa Hayes won't show up? There's a good chance you won't see logans and hovertanks though...
  13. I have no desire to ever straddle wood... Shin's gay...
  14. Edgar's Shin's doormat! I can't believe no one else sees Shin as the f*cktard that he is. He starts out as this arrogant F-14 Top gun ace. He goes up against a girl and he has no problem fighting her witha stick (very ungentlemanly, especially for an honorable japanese man) and proceeds to get his ass kicked. He shoots Roy with the paintballs after he was declared dead (a very big no-no in paintball) And it's been 4 episodes and I haven't seen him do sh!t with a VF-0. Meanwhile Roy is running around doing everybody's job. Shin is a better pilot with that POS flying log if anything... DIE! SHIN! DIE! I have a feeling he won't though...
  15. no... LTSO was right... R.O.U.S.s And the title of the thread paraphrases Wesley... lol...
  16. Muhh Daymuh!!!
  17. I used my Ipaq to do that.... fun at first then it got kinda old... Now my Ipaq is one hella expensive alarm clock....
  18. I can't wait.... I want to see a glorious death for Shin! Die! Shin! Die!!!
  19. Oh you mean the V.O.U.S.s?
  20. Wow, John Woo is the McDonalds of directors... The FACE/OFF director has agreed to helm a remake of THE RED CIRCLE, a 1970 French thriller that was directed by Jean-Pierre Melville. The film was about a thief who had just been released from prison who encounters a murderer that is evading a police manhunt. The two criminals decide to work together and plan a heist. The new RED CIRCLE film will be written by ALIAS and LOST producer Jeff Pinkner. Woo's dance card is filled to capacity. As he continues developing Universal's SPY HUNTER for a spring 2005 start of filming, Woo has been attaching himself to a variety of projects including an adaptation of Nintendo's video game METROID, a new MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE movie, a film set in China in the year 200 A.D. (THE WAR OF THE RED CLIFF) and now THE RED CIRCLE. According to Variety, Woo's plan is to complete his work on SPY HUNTER, then move on to his RED CLIFF project followed by THE RED CIRCLE. http://www.cinescape.com/0/editorial.asp?a...38&obj_id=42746
  21. We're you not entertained? Was it not what you wanted? Well my point was I guess 1 whole year equals to "ages" for you. Since that's how long his films have been absent from the theatres... and the new Kingdom of Heaven is coming up next year... I know he's not your run of the mill "churn them out" director, but you gotta understand how hard he works on these films...
  22. Hey, Godzilla it's been a day... why don't you remind us how many 1/48s you have...
  23. Ages? You must have missed Gladiator, Hannibal, Black Hawk down and Matchstick Men... I know those movies are low budget, limited release so I can undertand the fact that you may have overlooked them...
