Oh so most of the reasons why people like the Toynami is the same reason I hate them... I could care less about 1. Robotech Name 2. Limited production and crappy numbers 3. Known production amount (even though now they are saying they never finished the production run... that means it more rare... what it really means is nobody wanted them) 4. numbered boxes. 5. good marketting?.. it's great marketting!!! With Toynami, it's 95% hype and 5% product.

hoy pare!!! http://www.deleter.com/d_doll/index.html their just blanks to customize... um... "action figures"... yeah that's it! EDIT: wtf are actin figurs?

Actually as prone as even the refined nosecones are to falling off, I would prefer to remove it since undboutedly, it would fall off once you had the armor on anyway, and you would have a rattling part rolling around in the crotch! My only worry now is how much this baby will cost! I would estimate at least $125 for the Armor alone, and bundled with a 1J - really? I'm guessing just a little over the FP... $75-80. too early for me to start crossing fingers....

Mari Iijima's voice is different from the anime
EXO replied to vistali1's topic in Movies and TV Series
I saw her recently... sounded sweet to me. She just needs to realize that she sounds much better in Japanese than in english. -
"missed it" is an understatement... that was a wildly talked about cancellation.

JFK overrated?!?! He screwed the hottest sex starlet in the U.S. and then passed her off to her brother.... the guy was a saint...

Bah... who cares about a 1/48 GBP....

I don't have it in front of me.... but there's a rectangular piece right above the big circles and actually has the pegs that goes into the forearms that can be taken out. There is another screw there. Be careful... I believe there are springs that you won't want to lose.

How about a Thunderhammer girl with armor that comes right off the valkyrie girl and goes on my 1/48?

I just got up... no coffee!

Maybe we'll find out next year....

They take the action out of the action figures... There's really no need to make toys that cheap in quality, especially in the cast of the Matrix APU and the sSentinels, which was made to look like you were suppose to move it. I don't get the point of putting stupid articulations that make no sense. If you're gonna make statues make statues...

meh to the people that say meh... you guys act like its gonna happen... it ain't, but there's nothing wrong with wishing for it. Whenever there's new technology made, you're always going to wonder what could have been... Everyone would think it was great idea if Kawamori DID announce an interest in doing so....

Sorry small correction... Red Harvest = Yojimbo =Fistful Of Dollars = Last Man Standing. I actually like all versions, except that Red Harvest... never heard of it.

I don't know man. Try telling that to the animators that commited suicide because of Disney (the stuff you won't see on the news). Not only animators, but the strawberry farmer that Disney ran out of his farm to make the parking lot for Disneyland.... it's the happiest place in the world.

So there's only 3000-4000 made this time? I wonder how many of that will be sold to first time buyers or first time Roy1S buyers....

LOL... that looks like Raistlin from Dragonlance??? Why is he a Master of the obvious??? Now Ackbar... you'd think everyone knew that it was a trap when they discovered the shields were still up...

Excellent post! The gap has indeed narrowed between the two markets, due to ebay and various online stores and web sites. The one thing that surprised me this year is the non articulated batman figures that Yamato did and the highly articulated Robocop figure McFarlane did. Aoshima, a japanese company, released their own line of Robocop figures to be released in the US under the Skynet banner. And it's nowhere the quality of the McFarlane sculpt. The only thing going for it are the features that includes a working leg holster.

Hard call... Model completists spend way too much money, not to mention on material Toy completist spend way yoo much money on doubles, exclusives and limited editions. It's not about what you collect, it's about how much liquid income (and insanity) you have for your collection. EDIT: me spell gooood!

mikeszekely... you have just won this award! people doing things for... gulp... money???? Shocker! But if that the sole reason why anyone gets up in the morning, then why get up at all... but here are some facts that may or may not be obvious to you. Toy Story 2 was meant to be a direct to video release. Pixar was more than happy to do something for something that didn't have the big return a theatrical release would. But guess what? They wanted to tell a good story also. When Disney realized that the quality they were going to deliver exceeded their expectations, that's when they decided it was going to be released in the theatres. Which was also fine with Pixar. You'd think that with the wider release they would have just pocketed the extra cash in the bigger budget, but they decided to use it on the movie instead. I think this was when money came between Disney and Pixar. When Pixar told Disney that Toy Story 2 would fulfill on of the movies required in their contract, Disney told them that this wouldn't be so, since it was meant to be a direct to video release. Argument followed between "meant to be" and "actually is" and the rest is history...

Bingo! We're not suppose to be trying to compare CG companies, the more the merrier... we're talking about Disney pillaging a quality series. Yes, there's a chance it might turn out well, but truthfully, based on recent history, the odds are scary.
