Question: The toys for Appleseed list Deunan as Gartham, where does this come from? I don't recall Gartham in the movie or the manga.

I was thinking the same thing. It's obvious that they gave someone else preview samples of the toys and all they did was post pics of it. No reviews... I'm one for not burning any bridges, but sometimes you have to bring one down in order to put a new one up.

Davids right though... you're sure to make your clear parts foggy when removing paint from it. Takes a lot of sanding, patience, more sanding and some Future to get it right.... and more sanding...

Ironically, McFarlane hired Gaiman for the 4 issue "creator's" series. Where 4 different creators wrote stories for Spawn, to honor what Image stood for.... creator's rights. The other writers were Frank Miller, Dave Sim, and Alan Moore.

Again... it's not BotP or that G-Force.... it's a disney based adventure starring animals. Nothing to do with the Tatsanuko produced G-Force series. It's the whole Kimba/Simba thing all over again.

I really like this toy. I just don't have that "must have now" feeling I did before the 1/48s came out. The only thing that would give me that much anticipation would be more (different type) 1/48s or a DYRL Macross toy. It's looking good though... especially next to the conversion kit. I'll finaly have an excuse to take those bad boys out of the box. I just need my extra endoskeleton recasts.... Rohby!

I gotta agree, Bri was pretty depressing in the movie. But he was holding some pretty heavy secrets. Hopefully, everyone will be a different mood in the next movie. It's seems like the movie got the mood backwards. The city was bright and very sunny while the characters were dark and depressed. In the manga it was almost the opposite.

Tell me about it. This is kind of crap is what allows people like Spike Lee to sue networks over a name. Remember, though, Spike Lee lost that case. ...but the fact that it even went to court and held up SpikeTV's launch date and costed them millions is beyond comprehension. BTW, Spike Lee was instrumental in taking black cinema beyond what it was in the 80's and far beyond the blaxploitation fares in the 70's. So the fact that he's an egomaniacal tool doesn't mean he's talentless. He also discovered and rediscovered a lot of the talents we see regulary today.

You guys are trying to argue which frivolent lawsuit is worse? That's the biggest problem concerning our justice system today... people taking advantage of each other for money. Just like Spike Lee suing Spike TV for using his name. I'm not sure if the lawuit even has anything to do with the company's filing. Like the article said, McFarlane had his own careless way about his money. His company will be ok, he's obviously making some changes that will screw people over and has to make sure his comapny can't be sued by them.

Wow... I thought what everyone else did. If you would have said it was the pilots first day landing GERWALK agaist the wind, then it would have been perfect. No points taken away from trying though, in fact I think it'll look great once you get the kinks out and get it fully rendered. As far as the head, in Mac0 the CG transformations happen in a blink of an eye, not slowly like in the animated versions, so you can go either way. Great job.
