A full recast of this kit would be impossible. There are parts glued together and other parts that are not held together not by screws, like the elbow for the Tomahawk. The best we could do is to recast the skeleton part.. They made an ARII kit that is 1/100 scale that would match the conversion kit. I don't know about the quality.

Actually, the scale of Cap's model is closer to the B&W art than the color one. According to the pic in Rob's site the top of the front part of the tachi is twice the height of a Tamiya bottle at a normal stance. Sorry Rob, had to link from your site... And I took a pic of a 1/18 scale microman next to 2 bottles of Tamiyas which is comparable to a 6' man at 1/18 scale, and it's exactly that height...

I don't know why I would bother watching the series if the mini made you so miserable. Let me tell you now that in the series, you're going to get more of what you saw in the mini, so just save yourself some time. The Gaius Baltar character in the new series is probably one of the most interesting characters. He's completely insane. Or maybe he isn't. Reality and fantasy becomes a complete blur to him and somehow he manages to get thru it. I'd say there's definite depth to the characters and it becomes more evident as the series moves along. As for shows ripping off one another, I suppose you can say BSG ripped off Star Wars, but does it stop there? Remember that SW is taken from a lot of other sources, so I don't see the point of arguing that angle, regardless if it's SW or not.

hopefully it'll be about Connor getting sucked out of the screen into the real world and kills eveyone involved with the sequels.... I'd watch it!

forget the old series. You won't be able to enjoy it. When I first saw it all the changes bug me. But I saw it again and it's a brand new series to me now.

We kinda guessed it a while back... didn't think they'll reveal it so soon and so graphically.... haha... Cool episode... Starbuck's a kick ass pilot. It also makes you wonder what they will risk for one pilot vs. one ship.
