it was just mentioned elsewhere on this site that there is bootlegs of the rei out there on the market and the packaging and stuff almost seems identical to the real release i do not know to much about it. i do not known if yours is different because it is a slight error, a bootleg or if it just vary's from the ones on the box. do you have any pics? Bear in mind that there are also legit HK releases which are identical to the Japanese version just the packaging and the manga printed in Mandarin. Legit? So they aren't bootlegs? What's the quality?

I know this is the toy section and it's miles away from the models section, but talking about recasting a Liquid Stone product is a no-no. We're just hanging by the nails to the little amount of products that get put out and any word of a recast would surely put a nail to seal that coffin. Hush you! Joons were better valks compared to an MPC. HG Macross products are bootlegs... say it with me... BOOTLEGS. $20 toys in $60 boxes. I don't even like the way those boxes look. And no, I'm not bias. If they made $60 toys in $20 boxes, I'd spend my money on them. hell I'd pay $120 dollars if they made $80 toys in $40 boxes... and I'd throw away the boxes.

I gotta agree... its not that I'm sick of the VF-1s but at this point I've already invested way too much and pretty happy with the 1/48 line to start over... It better be damn good to win me over too. But it seems like Yamato is losing steam on Macross and is ready to branch out to other stuff. Other stuff than I'm happy about too. So I'm hoping for someone to pick up the torch and run with the Macross line. Sure it's not that popular, but there's enough interest in it to be a good investment for a new company to use as they're flagship product to grow on.

There's no way I would pay $65 for it... and the Rei comes with a Seat from the capsule... why get the skull seat? If you guys really want a skull seat, I guess I can ask Rohby to do a small run of them just for us. But that's thinking way ahead. What would be cool would be if they released a Sinji with an Adam crusifix seat...

No. haha... It's still a pretty well detailed figure. It's not broken but the joints are loose and fall apart easily. It's takes long to put it in a pose just because you have to keep reattaching the arms or legs. Here's a pic of it apart.
