And apparently for no reason a clone of her is fooling around on Capricorn with a dude, which has no strategic reasoning behind it - just off the guy and go your way! She's not Korean... she's Trojan but her parts were made by Black and Decker. Semi-Spoiler And her mission on Caprica maybe the most integral Cylon mission ever. Grace Park isn't Korean is she?

So you cant really do details with acrylic on that paint because it doesn't react well with other paints. How's the color selection with that line of paints? I've seen these at Home Depot and I always wanted to try it out.

Good thing this isn't a Fox show. Fox is now known in the industry as the most impatient network in all history of television. Cancelling good shows is a Fox specialty: Family Guy, Firefly and the most recent glaring one being Wonderfalls. Which is Ironic when you look at the shows that launched the network, Tracy Ullman, ALien Nation, etc... The New Adventures of Bean Baxter, The Brat Patrol, Parker Lewis Can't Lose (heh, that Kubiak will eat anything...)

recasting parts for the MPC Alpha is pretty much impossible becuase to get a good piece you'd have to tear other parts apart. Everything is glued together and is not accesile by screws. I have an Alpha which arm missile compartment is glued shut instead of repaired. I wish I knew that Toynami was good about replacement parts before I shut it permanently.

Make custom telescopic cannons? Why recast them if you can just paint some styrene tubes and slide them over the existing cannons... I think it looks fine, if they were longer, people would be complaining about how unrealistic they would be because it screws up the perfect transformation.

??? Isn't that a pic of the 1/60 scale Yamato Monster? You can see the rest of the Yamato Valks on the sid of the pic, most notably the 1/48 Roy... this pic is pretty famous around these parts.

Cool! Thanks Gaijin... I'm glad I asked. I'm hoping NBC doesn't air it, because the numbers are a lot more brutal in the network arena than it is within the cable channels. Even though NBC has a better track record of supporting its shows. (damn you ABC)

Don't get me wrong Gaijin, I love all the updates and inside stuff you post, but I thought this was already set? Did they just make this decision?

Because for the last FIVE pages those in favor have been fixated on photoreal CG valks! Even back in the 80's with models, puppets, and bluescreens...the SFX technology has been there to make a visualy impressive live action Macross film....and we all know modern CG tech is up to snuff...WE ALL KNOW THAT! GET OVER IT! and put some frickkin thought into the other 90% of Macross...don't just say the story has to be "good" or "right", tell us what that means...put as much, if not more, energy into describeing that as you do enraptured in the fanboy wetdreams of CG valk eye-candy and you might be able to convince some folks! that's idiotic... the only thing hindering a movie like this is the SFX. The story, the music and the acting which the other 90% you're talking about is what you won't know about until such movie comes out. Arguing about it is where the fanboy part comes in... and that's my point. Point #1: The question was is it doable. And yes it very doable... whether it should be done is an argument I'll stay out of and leave it up to the super zealous ranting of both sides. Point #2: The fact that people that say they're against it will be the first ones in line to see it, and no doubt will be ready to hate it just so they can rant about how right they were to begin with.

I really don't like the 1/60s. I would have been happy with the 1/55s but the 1/48 spoiled me.

Who says they have to be outside? And why does a lock down mean someone has to run to that door and manually lock it? I know about plot holes, that particular door just gets me everytime they use it. That car exploding when the guy inserted the key was pretty cool though. It's why I watch 24.

That's a good point... damn... I was gonna say how consistant that is with another of Adama's decision, but I don't think that part aired in the US yet... I'm kinda confused of the timeline because I've been rewatching certain episodes out of order. But what good are pilots with no Vipers or fuel? It's a tough choice to make. It is. The fact that they lose so many pilots should also speak for how many vipers they would have left.
