    Sorry Sean, gonna have to disagree with you. Those maybe the roots of the japanese words as used by them but in the english speaking world anime=japanese cartoons just like manga = japanese comic books. Dark Horse is having a Manga Month in the current Previews, that doesn't mean they are pushing all their titles with that promotion, just the ones they are importing from japan. The line becomes blurry when you think of Mac 0 and Blue Skies though (Wonderful Days) which we would consider animes, though they are from Korea, but retain Japanese animation production values. Then again so did the Sentinels, well it was suppose to anyway but didn't come close. also if you go into blockbuster or tower and ask for the anime section, they won't take you to the Disney section...

    He's talking about the amount of room inside the cockpit in battroid mode. The seat rotates 90 degrees back and a bunch of panels surround the pilot. That's why it looks like there's less room. There's a cutaway pic in the Perfect Memory book.

    I think from a stated capability standpoint Airwolf was better, but totally NOT feasable. I mean come on, it was a helicopter with sonic capabilities... yeah and Blue Thunder can do a vertical loop? I prefer watching Blue Thunder but Airwolf was an afterthought, so like you said, it's capabilty standpoint was made to beat choppers like BT and even jets... you're talking about 2 different planes of reality there.

    been testing this on a 1/48 the surface adherance is amazing but it doesn't pass the corner test. So far i can easily rub it off the corners rather easily. it says to wait seven days for it to become chip resistant... I won't touch it until then...

    This was a great series that never gets the respect it deserves. I'm still pissed at Fox for bailing on it! Of course, they're also bailing on "Arrested Development" and that's another great show! But that's not sci-fi, so ignore my small rant and just watch "Firefly" and its movie that should be coming out soon, "Serenity". I'll be there when it opens in September. SERENITY NOW! sounds like a feminine product Maybe Elaine used it...

    Because then you have Akira (anime) and Zeta (anime), with nothing to show that the forum also includes Western Sci Fi, which is why I chose Zardoz to represent 'Z', as it is a Western Sci Fi movie, albeit a somewhat obscure one . Actually, I agree there is nothing wrong with the present forum title. Anway, there is not enough space to type a forum title which acurately represents the forum content, otherwise you would end up with a title something like this: - Other Anime & Sci Fi and err.......guns, yep big honkin' guns, oh and Gundam models and toys. Console games, yep lots of console games, Jet planes...zoom, zoom. Lastly, don't forget that aging Austrian former bodybuilder/actor tuned politician! Graham Don't forget RT! If you don't mention RT in there, you're gonna let it loose on the rest of the forum!
