  7. former presidents don't become presidents again if the present one is assassinated...
  8. I have the CMs, while they're nice figures I don't like the faces on some of them. Hikarus and Roy's are not that great. I'm gonna go strictly off lineart. As for the recasters, someone listed a couple of recasters in the beginning of this thread. Try contacting any of them and you should be able to get someone. Send me those pics soon! TNX.
  9. oh... lol... ask Togo... he's the one that's judged everything by how gay it is...
  10. All the scratch building and modelling stuff is getting back up to speed. I guess the fact that Yamato slowwed down their production has got the creative juices flowing once again. And not just Macross stuff either. GITS, BSG and more. Nice to see things turn for the better.
  11. I'll take it to the recaster and see how we can go about rebuilding it to make it recast friendly. I'm gonna rescuplt the hair with milliput instead to make it tougher and more workable. The mold making process might break off some tips of the hair if I do it in Sculpey. And we might have to make more than one mold. Take a picture of the refitted body you're going to use in relation to the regular body... I want to see what your talking about. I still plan to sculpt the bodies myself since I'm planning DYRL figures. I want to make the arms and leg armors non removable but I also want the uniform to be tucked into them. I already have someone making the fabric part uniform for me. I just have to sculpt the shoulder/backpack portion of it. Not to mention the helmet. I'm most likely to do removable heads to switch from helmet and non helmet. The helmet will be removable though so the pilots can hold it. It's going to be a while, probably won't be done with one figure by the end of this year. But if you guys want I'll finish the Hikaru head sooner. I'm going to use the same head for max since they have the same shape.
  12. haha, nice work Chris!
  13. EXO

    PIC of SDF wanted

looks like he's looking for DYRL style SDF-1... could be wrong...
  14. I've been testing out how I would sculpt Hikarus head... here's some preliminary work, this won't be the final piece though, I plan to tear it apart to smooth out the face and add detail.
  15. I could kinda see what your talking about. but it's hard to tell wether it's a raised panel or a separation line. I'll get a couple of these but it looks so big. It looks like a little valk buying from the Big And Tall Valk store.
  16. I don't believe that it was something that we got used to... I was so worried the rest of the movie was going to be like that for the rest that I really paid attention. Willis's exchange with Madsen the next time around was 100% better. I gotta agree with this, as much as this was the way to go with Sin City, I never want anyone else to try doing it this way. I can't imagine screenwriters taking dialogie straight out of a lesser writer's comic book. I'm fine with the adaptations and I'm very much looking forward to Batman Begins, but I don't think I want to see them do a shot by shot and the dialogue from Batman: Year One, even though it's still a Miller comic book. Hopefully filmmakers will realize that this is stylistic, not a formula...
  17. The return of Bulky Lee! HBAR HBAR HBAR HBAR HBAR HBAR HBAR HBAR HBAR
  18. wallpaper scans? forget that, poster scans!!! you know you wanna do this Nick!!! I am so buying this book! wouldn't that be bootlegging? Pot: That's one black kettle!
  19. There's no lineart for the regult (or the glaug) in the gold book. There's a drawing of one in a background sketch but that's about it. It's mostly about the DYRL NOUSJADEUL-GER.
  20. awesome... try that fusion stuff with clearcoat for paint, you can use acrylic over it...
  21. This has all happened before and will all happen again.
  22. I started out loathing this movie. The scenes with Josh Harnett and also the beginning scenes between Willis and Madsen were awful. It felt like they were reading cue cards on Sat Night Live. These must have been the test shots they showed Miller to convince him to allow them to shoot the movie. The ride didn't start for me until Mickey Rourke and Carla Gugino (who BTW was ) were on screen. I think Mickey Rourke stole the show. I'm glad they used him because he's such a washed up actor that was once awesome back in the 80s. All the leads turned out perfectly. That was really Dwight, Marv and Hartigan up there... freakin awesome...
  23. The super sculpey box has painting insructions.
  24. He's not here for that. He's a stray dog that no one wants to feed.
