I like the Arii character figures too, expecially for the price. The CMs are really good also, but sometimes the faces are off. I don't have any of the Arii mechs but those little figures that come with them are neat.

Why didn't they have Chinese agents... that would have been cool if they ripped of that mask and saw another Chinese face. The Spliner cell action was cool. I coulda watch 30minutes of that. I could almost see the Metal Gear style exclamation points on those guards when they found out Jack was there.

I rather get the Grendizer SOC than the Yamato Scopedog. That's just a walking BBQ grill with an old camera on top.

It's teal. But i like the forest green version of my custom... The DYRL Max is more baby blue like the 1/60s but I prefer the 1/48's dark blue color.

I tried ordering this from Kinokuniya earlier but they didn't even have the ISBN on record. I know Angolz has it in their database, but I just want to pick it up... I can't even find the Tenjin in there yet. Middle of May is ok... I'm getting this ASAP though!

I thought Buffy and Angel was pretty cheesy... maybe because Firefly wasn't about teen angst and had capable actors. I wasn't into B5 and Andromeda either. Hell I didn't even like the high and might SAAB when it came down to it. Firefly and BSG are probably the only sci-fi space adventures I'd watch as a series... at least I still have one on TV and the other in the theatres.

I guess you have to be a fan of Space Adventure type of stories... and you pretty much can't have one without a space ship and a crew...

The first time I saw Warren's work was on the covers of Bubblegum Crisis and and Appleseed comic books... it made me sick then, it makes me sick now... but all this talk of comic book artists is fun...

Travis Charest started out as a Jim Lee clone, but soon left his shadow and turned out to be even better than Jim Lee. Brandon Peterson is actually kinda decent... nothing remarkable, just decent.

I'm not reall a huge fan of the Image guys... sure I bought the initial releases like Spawn, WildCATS and Cyberforce but their generic style just got lost on me after the whole "wow, look at the shiny pages" wore off. But Liefeld has always been a subpar artist. I always asked why my friends bought his book and they always answered because the stories were so good, but somehow I doubted that also... I'm still wondering what the allure is. Jim Lee was a great artist but he reduced himself to be just one of the guys after Image was created. His last pages for the XMen title was awesome, but Wildcats was just a bunch of pages with action poses and gritted teeth. And it's beyond me how anyone became a fan of the PITT title... the damn book came out once every year. How many issues are there of Pitt for the years they advertised it? The only books I looked forward to was Wetworks and Deathblow and those were practically vaporware by issue 2. The same goes for Joe Mad. I swear the guy was made for Image if he didn't come out too late. I would take Carlos Pacheco, Chris Bachalo and Brian Hitch over any of those guys. And here's hoping Adam Hughes and Travis Charest would get back on some kind of regular title too.
