Gusto mong 1/48s? Magsumikap ka! Haha... natantandahan yan from John and Marsha...

Holy crap... it's exactly who I thought they would get... not who I wanted them to get. He's a decent director. I don't hate his movies, but they're nowhere near my favorite movie list. The next director of the X3... Brett Ratner.

It could just be the next Bubblegum 2040 series. I believe it's the only other series from the former Artmic library aside from BGC if you don't count the RT series. If they stay within the theme and make a worth while story then I'll definitely check it out.

I agree with AgentOne the most. If I don't like it, I stay away from it. Putting more responsibilites on the mods on the way the sales are handled kinda makes the site responsible for what happens. As far as I know Sean gave us the space to make deals on the only rule that it's Buyers Beware and gives up any responsibility. It opens up a lot of oppurtunities for people to try to take advantage, but it seems like the people here are too savvy to get taken advantage of anyway. If they send the money for a silent auction then they were willing to pay that price. It doesn't set the market price at all because its up to the parties to reveal what the cost of exchange was. -
They had to have ripped off Parasite Eve with that midchlorian thing. midicholrian, mitochondira, those words sure look alike. Uh, Parasite Eve didn't invent mitochondria. http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=mitochondria http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitochondria Video games didn't invent the world. awww man... next thing you're gonna tell me is that MTV didn't invent music...

Just spreading the wonderous tales of Agent ONE. He's like a modern day myth. One day when we're all dead and forgotten, maidens will sing songs about his greatness. ...and use doorknobs when they need preasure.

well, after what happened to Renegadeleader, I'm glad you asked first... The Yamatos are nowhere near as durable as the 1/55s and the Jetfire... but that's because those damn Bandais are heavy freakin duty Chogokin quality mofos. To me the 1/48s aren't as delicate as people say. Once you get to know the transformation sequence and learn how each part fit with each other you should be ok. Just don't force anything that won't move the way it's not suppose to. As far as avoiding any, I'd say just avoid the first edition Hiharu and Roy. They have some minor problems with parts that easily fall off and crooked skulls on the tail. Also you'll find that some have already skyrocketed in price. The only one that seems like it'll never see reissue is the overpriced lowVis. While some other recent releases haven't been reissued, there's no "limited edition" markings on their boxes that limits them from ever being rereleased. Just price them to see which one is most affordable for you. Or wait for the CF coming later this year.

why? I remember we were all having trouble just getting people to recast clear canopies for the 1/55s, why go three steps back?

Cough......Serenity and Land of The Dead...cough. I wouldn't exactly call them nothing. And War of the Worlds, pah....don't you mean ID4 II? At least that's what it looked like from the trailer. Graham I don't know what the schedule is in HK but Serenity isn't scheduled til later this year... I don't care much about Zombie movies... you've seen one you've seen them all. So if you discount WotW, it proves my point of another lackluster season of summer flicks. Here's what we got to look forward to: Jun 3 Cinderella Man Universal Deep Blue (NY/LA) Miramax High Tension Lions Gate Lords of Dogtown Sony Jun 10 Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl in 3-D Miramax The Honeymooners Paramount Howl's Moving Castle (LTD) Buena Vista Mr. & Mrs. Smith Fox Jun 15 Batman Begins Warner Bros. Jun 17 The Perfect Man Universal Jun 22 Herbie: Fully Loaded Buena Vista Jun 24 Bewitched Sony George A. Romero's Land of the Dead Universal Rize (LTD) Lions Gate Jun 29 War of the Worlds Paramount Jul 1 Rebound Fox Jul 8 Dark Water Buena Vista The Fantastic Four Fox Jul 15 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Warner Bros. Hustle & Flow Paramount Classics The Wedding Crashers New Line Jul 22 The Bad News Bears Paramount The Devil's Rejects Lions Gate The Island DreamWorks Jul 29 The Brothers Grimm Miramax Must Love Dogs Warner Bros. Night Watch (LTD) Fox Searchlight Sky High Buena Vista Stealth Sony Aug 5 2046 (LTD) Sony Classics Cry Wolf Focus The Dukes of Hazzard Warner Bros. The Pink Panther MGM/UA Aug 12 Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo Sony Four Brothers Paramount Skeleton Key Universal Aug 19 The 40-Year-Old Virgin Universal Domino New Line Red Eye DreamWorks Valiant Buena Vista Aug 26 The Cave Sony The Constant Gardner Focus Undiscovered Lions Gate

Seriously... I can agree with someone saying that they did a great job for what was given to them and the time they did it in. But to say that the creators talked to him and said... "Oh wow, we had no idea what we were doing when we wrote the story... I'm glad you Americans came along and were able to save our animation." That's a lot of credit you're asking for when 99% of the work were done by legitimate artist and the 1% done by the RT crew which were really just translation. That would be like Neil Gaiman taking credit for how well Princess Mononoke came out. But a credible person like Gaiman wouldn't dare say that because it would be straight bullshit.

wow. I didn't know you can guarantee an oscar nomination... Does that one movie make it a better season of movies over all? Cinderella Man and Mr. Mrs. Smith to me are just fillers until Batman comes out. After that what do you have? Herbie Fully Loaded and Bewitched? Nothing until War Of The World comes out...

With those lips she better.... hahaha... I'll check it out. For the lack of better films to watch nowaday and also with Doug Liman directing an action/comedy, it should be ok.

Eh.. I say let Matt can plug his books here anytime... He's done so much for the mech toy fanbase. I'm gonna check this out for sure.

Yup... it does. But it doesn't make it impossible. There's a small percentage that it'll turn out good. Very small...

Amped is right. AS far as Joss Whedon. He hasn't even thought about Wonder Woman, apart from the scripment he gave WB, until he finishes Serenity. So I doubt he would take on X3. The execs at the WB made such a big mistake for letting Singer go... but hopefully they get someone that will make a better movie.

If only Minmay's long version of the runner was in any of these.... Thanks for the heads up Renato.

But would you say it was an improvement to the original sources? That's the kind of stuff that bugs me. I've never said I hated Robotech or it was bad. I can't ever deny I really enjoyed it at the time it was first aired, but for these people to say that they improved it is just insane. I can honestly say it was dumbed down a couple of notch so that the "stupid little children" can keep up with it. Did they really improve on SC? As far as I know the audiences dropped like flies after the Macross Saga finished airing. Once those VFs were gone from the screen, which no american writers can ever claim, people were just not interested anymore. Only the lucky few who stuck around got to see the Alphas and the Cyclones, more reasons to watch that the "translators" can't claim.

I say pin one 'Stealth' thread until a week after July 29th. How many more threads do we need of that damn movie? lets call it the "HEY LOOK IT'S THE ONE AND ONLY STEALTH MOVIE THREAD"

This guy sounds like he's just so glad he's being interviewed... "Yes, yes... I've been very busy in Italy..." cuz he can't find a decent job at the states. Here's how it probably went down... Greg Smegma: So what did you guys think of the script changes? Tatsanuko guy: Yes, yes. good! Greg Smegma: I think it's a lot better than the original, it's more mature and involving. And best of all not in japanese which makes a lot less original and less involving. And all little children are stupid! Right? Tatsanuko guy: Yes, yes... good! You send check?

Meh... it's too big. I'm only getting 2.

Yeah. I did that. First thing I tried. but it's the same in all settings...
