Given that most adults don't watch ANY anime, then to them that makes us anime fans. Not to mention that any anime they watch is probably in that narrow list we have seen, it's almost guaranteed that we've seen what ever they can name. That just reaffirms the fact that we've seen every anime there is.

Given all the other crap I watch, they just given up to say what is mature and what isn't. I myself am suprise how much less animated stuff I watch. But most anime IS childish... I wish they made Tengo Tenje more adult like the (japanese) manga. I could use more cartoons like GITS: SAC also. But my friends/family don't assume that the animation I watch is for kids just because they hear japanese voices from the tube.

Not to be dick or anything but this is just the wrong kinda thing to do. I feel for the people and families that was affected by the devastation but soliciting a private donation is wrong.

Thank you sir may I have another! I treat anime like I treat any other show or movie. If I like it, I'll add it to my library. There's a few that I take to heart even though I hate the anime, just because I like the designs, like Gasaraki and EVA.

You know... after what happened in Kobol, I would think that Adama would become a Roslyn follower and that would autamatically make Tigh a believer. Unless he thinks that Adama is under some kind of spell or influence. But Adama confirming what he saw would probably be enough to convince Tigh. I guess we'll see how the writers play this one. As for Adama wimping out, I don't think that's the case. He's always been able to respect other people's opinion even though he seems so set in his ways. And he explained that during this episode. If he didn't let Roslyn change his mind about running then they would be all dead. That's not wimping out, that's being able to swallow his pride for the greater good. Roslyn is one of my favorite characters. She's probably the strongest character in the show. She initially lied to Helo about putting Sharon away, even though she meant to throw her out the air lock. She ejected that cylon from the air lock after she managed to get info out of him, when Starbuck couldn't. She stole one-third of the fleet. She decided to leave a bunch of ships to the cylons, even the little girl she promised no harm would come of her. Pretty tough decisions and required a lot of strength. And each one of those scenes made the show more interesting. Over all I like the way the show progresses. The last episode answered a lot of questions and closed off a lot of the arcs. I'm just glad everyone is back on board the Galactica so we can get back to where we expect to see everyone in their place. Hopefully that means Appollo and Starbuck back on Vipers. Too bad we wont see Sharon in the Raptor anymore or her uniform...

The episode rocks as does the show. The scene between the Chief, Boomer and Helo was pretty good. This thread, on the other hand sucks... it's more like the "How I want Battlestar Galactica to be so I could enjoy it more."

Let's face it. If the original didn't have the characters, their story, and especially the mechs to be derived from Robotech is nothing. And all three were products of those people's imagination. HG didn't design the VFs, the Alpha, the SDF-1 and your beloved hovertanks. A lot of Robotech's success had nothing to do with the meshing and the dubbing. You forgot to mention that there were three different kinds of beers that were poured into a cup and there was cigarette butts and backwash all over it.... Yum... nice beer punch for breakfast that the SciFi Museum is having.

Maybe a couple of inner parts here and there but I think it's generally the same. Even the rear landing gears coming out from the leg is the same. I agree with shin that the wonderfest one was probably put together on the fly, but still, all the parts we see from noel's picture match the parts shown from the Hobby mag. The pilot not being there isn't really an issue since that can go in and out... The reason why we see just the fighter mode right now especially in the early stages is because it can be put together the easiest without having to need all the other function innard parts present... which is probably why the wonderfest version is not holding together all too good. Either way... we all know what yamato is capable of with toys this size, so I'm not worried... If the final looks like the wonderfest (plus the parts necessary to transform the valk, which will also take away most of the biggest gaps) I'll be one happy camper. 323494[/snapback] I'm pullin' Shin's leg... he knows it... lol... or at least I hope...
