1. cool man! thanks!
2. Because it joins one set of nerds with another set of nerds? HAHAHAHA 333744 BobePat: And I'll form the head!
3. I'm not saying they should... I'm just saying that saying that the fact that saying she "aged" is ridiculous.
4. Honorable? Maybe it's the fact that Mal knows that there are a lot of dead honorable people. Plus it goes with the humor of the whole story. The Assassin visits him at the end out of remorse and appreciation for opening his eyes to the fact that he wasn't working for the cause of the "better world". That and to explain to the audience that the Alliance is no longer looking for River.
5. I just bought the Serenity magazine... it said that Wash's death was somewhat Alan Tudyk's idea. He suggested that he be killed off on the show's second season before it got axed. I guess they just sped up the process for the movie. Ron Glass (Book) on the other hand got the bad news thru a phone call... sucks.
6. She doesn't look good because she's not designed by Mikimoto, not because she's aged... she's a cartoon character for crissake... look at Millia. Mikimoto designed her to age well.
7. Oh man... did you just ruin Jody Foster's Flightplan for me?
8. Mal's a total badass in this movie (as if he wasn't already). Even though we saw in the trailer that he shoots the Operative when he says that he was unarmed, it was still a great scen that made everyone jump... sorta like a big F'you to Lucas and his Han Solo SE edit. There maybe people that can fight better than Mal, but I believe he's probably the fastest gun in the black.
9. Cos' he's a tool... listen, you just joined Aug. When this guy has been trolling MW under different names and talking sh!t about our site. Now that RT.com has banned him for being a tool, he ends up joining here because just like 1st Border Red Devil says... he's a closet Macross fan that can't admit to himself. Oh yeah, and there was the time that he gloated that he got to see ep. 3 in an early screening, but then forgot about that when he posted that an SW video game spoiled the ending for him... Comedy at it's scariest. Anyway, Dean, if there's anything else you want explained to you about the site, I suggest reading every other thread ever created especially the ones started by MGnumbnuts.
10. He let them go because he saw (on the video) what the Alliance did to that planet and it's byproduect which resulted in the creation of the reavers. duh!! Not bad for a troll, huh? p.s. I think that you have been hanging aroung Exoidiot and Agent dumb to much. 333652 yeah... quit hanging aroung us. You crazy cokaroach!
11. does the UNSpacy Max head interchange with the Qrau Max?
12. haha, where you live at? 333571 or more improtantly, where would you prefer to die?
13. No sh!t... talk about stating the obvious after the fact and claiming it as your own. Tell us when you figure out that Miranda is the Reaver's homeworld... I'm sure that's news to us too.
14. I totally agree, DH, that was my take on it too. I feel like like this movie pretty much put a nail in the coffin for Firefly that was the series. But if Whedon is as good as he seems, he can totally pull off the introduction of new characters that bring with them baggage. With 2 people gone, there's still plenty to work with. Maybe Jayne has more to him than just being the hero of Canton.
15. check out the series, I think it's a lot better than the movie. I noticed they added sound in space, probably pressured by the suits. The FX is not as good as the movie but the story plays out a lot better.
16. Vera... I don't remember if it was in the movie, gotta see it again.
17. Solscud mentioned that Book could have been an operative. In the series Book showed the Alliance officers his ID and they immediately took him into Ariel. In the movie The Operative did the same to the scientist and they gave him access to River Tam's files. If Book indeed was an operative then maybe the role of the bad guy in the movie prolly served as sort of an explanation for the Sheperd's past.
18. Don't be such an a$$. 333231 I thought he was being helpful...
19. Good family fun... if you're part of the Texas Massacre clan... boy this movie is freakin gory and violent. In other words it was awesome. It's almost weird because the movie, when not pushing in nose cartilage up people's brains is really serene and peaceful almost boring. The contrast is really obvious once Viggo start killing people and oh so well. It's sick how it really satisfied my thirst for a good action flick. Best one since Denzel in Man On Fire. Ugh... I can't get that picture of that guy with his face blown off breathing in his own blood... Highly recommended...
20. Mmmm... God bless the internet.
21. I agree it's ballsy to kill main characters off, it's definitely a personal gripe and no I'm not about to spew off some lame fanfic of how Whedon should do things. Like I said it's still a great movie and certainly fills that SciFi hole that the cinema has been lacking lately. I just feel that if the series was still on we would have gotten to enjoy going deeper into those characters. But I'm certainly looking forward to how possibly he can top this storyline. The prequel thing is highly unlikely....they already did it in the pilot and the Out of Gas episode. 333004 lol... people really have to try harder to flame me... obviously still burned by that useless thread. It's really funny how people are so brave to speculate because they're counting on the fact that we're not going to remember all the useless dribble they say by the time it matters. haha. The prequel thing is a horrible idea, only idiots would fall for that kind of thing.
22. OMG... even though it's just GI Joe, now I know why people make films like Fast and Furious... it's for idiots that read AICN...
23. And you have 2 on order from Mindy, dont you? 332909 yeah. BTW the Shammy figure looks a lot better than that picture makes it look... the paint on this series is a whole lot better than series 2 also.
24. monkeynugget
25. Yeah Wash's death wasn't really that necesary except to show how dedicated Zoe was. Book's death seemed more important to the story but I was hoping that they would do more with his character. He and Inara were my favorites from the series and was hoping the next movie would showcase them more.
