I don't think the DVD sales will be strong enough to continue the franchise. But I'm also hoping that I'm so wrong. Definitely the best scifi movie of the year.

gotta agree... I saw the first one for free and enjoyed it. It's a good movie to take my niece and nephews to and I don't have to wrry about knocking out or anything. Smartly made and no fast or furious feeling... hehe. My favorite scene in this one was the dragon trying to stay up on the roof. That was pretty good.

I don't remember exactly how small. But they can't be that much bigger than how wheels or matchbox. It's been a while. I remember telling myself to come back for pics but I never did, it wasn't that impressive to me. They were unpainted die cast on the display. Maybe they would look better painted.

thats a great price, I remember when these were going for $250 complete and I got mine for $130 without the book marks or the poster. That was a bargain back then. If I get the chance to snag one at that price I would probably take it. I've seen some go for less, but I wasn't sure of the condition on those.

I saw those die cast ships at the scifi booth at the San Diego Comicon, they were pretty small.

Is it me or is Harry NOT learning any magic spells? He seems so clueless when a professor asks him a questrion... no I don't read the book so maybe it's suppose to be like that. But when that instructor asked him what were his strength and his only answer was he can "fly fast" I was thinking WTF? Shouldn't he be at least trying to live up to his fame or trying to prepare for the inevitable confrontations with Voldemort? Everytime he goes heads up against someone it seems like he's more about having balls than he is about being a great wizard.

They've done that several times now. I've missed them all so far. Are any of the Good Morning America clips on the web anywhere? If not does anyone know if these clips are some of the same extras they are putting on the DVDs? The Good Morning America spots I've seen so far indicate that they are the only place to see them, so I'm wondering if they are being left off the DVDs. The reason I've missed them so far is I have TIVO taping the show and its usually a day or 2 before I find the time to watch it and I don't even know about the Good Morning America clip until after its too late. While I first imagined Snape looking a little different (a bit more like Raistlin from the "Dragonlance" series, if any of you have read that), the voice was always spot-on for me. 346428[/snapback] that's funny cuz I thought Fiennes would always make a good Raistlin.

It looks like they're skipping 2006, but we'll get the Order of the Phoenix in 2007 and then Half Blood Prince in 2008.
