So...if a long plot resolves finally in a single episode than it is poor...and if they aren't resolved in a couple of episodes then they fizzle out? So Cain should still be here, the Pegasus itself should be gone, the Blackbird should not have been destroyed, they should be harping on what Tigh did while in command, and the baby who was born one episode ago you think is going nowhere because one episode of a 2 parter didn't mention it? The Pegasus crew chief actor is returning later, I believe it was mentioned the actor wasn't available just like the actors for Stinger and Leoben. Honestly all those Image books are just rip off books that they wished they were still working on but can rake in all the money themselves. All the books they started are just carbon copies of the books they left when they were working for Marvel, with the exception of Erik Larson's Savage Dragon. But I'm glad there's people here reading Justice and the Ultimates. My favorite books aside from Blade Of the Immortal.

how about making it different and instead of having forums just have comments after every story... I've got too many forums about macross that I visit right now... And by many, I mean 2. But I can be dissuaded from the other ones if this one is more fun.

I like the so called official threads. I've never created one (not that I can remember) but I think members just call them that to gather up all the fans of what ever the topic is. It's not official as sanctioned by the site, but official as far as it more or less a "let's get together" type thing. What I don't like is when someone starts a thread and they get pointed to the "official" thread as an answer instead of just answering a question that can be answered quickly and letting the thread die on it's own. If a similar thread runs concurrent with a similar thread, then, yes, one of the threads should be assimilated or closed. What I hate even more is when someone bumps up ALL the related threads just to show there has been other threads created for such topic. As if that helpful to the site. As far as calling it "official" it gets a big fat 'I dont care what you call it' from me. It's the other members choice whether they support a thread or not unless it was pinned by an admin/mod.

I think not... I didn't buy a bunch of 1/48s and 1/55s just so they can redesign them. I'd have to start all over! Besides, you can't improve on perfection. But many would want to steal it.

Enter a picture of a finished piece of fanart here. A drawing, a model, a custom toy, CG art, sculpture, diorama or whatever you can think of. But it must be a finished piece not a work in progress. You can only enter ONE picture per piece. In the middle of the month we'll have a poll for all entries we can fit in the poll. I'm not sure how many items we can fit in the poll but it's first come first serve. Those that dont make it will be automatically entered for the next month. This must be original art, not a photoshop of some pictures found. Artists can enter themselves or can be nominated. Artists can enter by themselves or as a team. There may be multiple entries from one artist as long it's a different piece of art, not different versions of the same piece. I'm trying to cover everything here, so if I missed something then remind me. This is for pure fun and everyone is invited to enter. No one can ridicule any entries, there will be no critiques because an entry is final once it's posted. Any person found making fun of any entry will be booted from the thread.
