that pretty much explains Kevin Smith fans. I actually thought Mall Rats and Clerks was cute for it's time, but everything else is fanatically driven BS. What kind of mentality is it when you can't actually enjoy a film without being high or drunk? To me, it sounds like a sure sign of a crappy movie. Kevin Smith is actually a nice guy. I've met him a couple of times, and not in an autograph line in some comic book con. But if I have to hear that Jon Peters giant spider story spider one more time, I'd have to puke in his face.

I always thought ALIEN3 shouldve taken place in Gateway... the medical/docking station that Ripley was in in Aliens. So close to Earth, but still in space.

I can't help but think that Harmony Gold made the same exact mistake twice in their career as an anime producer. They made an attempt to continue Robotech with a series that turned into a feature instead. With the same characters and same mechs... We already have one Sentinels and they just remade it with the Shadow Cronicles. Wasn't this suppose to come out as part of the 20th anniversary of Robotech? It's already 2006, Robotech was first aired in 1985. "Hey remember that failed animation project we had in the 80's! Let's do it again! Maybe we can sell some more crappy toys. If not let's just go back to milking Macross... no not Mospeada and Southern Cross, just Macross."

There's always going to be a couple of topics allowed that are beyond the given spectrum. Once you widen that spectrum then the liberty taken for OT stuff will widen too. I dont really care if the title of the section is changed, in fact my apathy is taken aback by the fact that people DO care. Maybe some people need more of a life to not worry about such things.

It's not a lot of effort if people are submitting to it. Maybe to kick it off but afterwards you just have the geeks contribute. Pretty much the story of the entire web.
