1. that statement would b highly inaccurate, Rohby would neiher be a mom or a pop. Plus it was never said that it was HG that halted that project. 395146 Ohh R'ly? read on baybeh...: any smart person would know which "certain company" he's talking about. Yamato? nah...I wouldnt think so. sayonara, aaajin 395334 Yeah... you're so smart that you failed to research the fact that I know Rohby personally and know the exact facts...
2. I would say do something more to it... You're entering something that was sculpted by another member. If you can do something original like a diorama that would set it apart from being someone else's creation. I guess composition is the key here.
3. Congratulations to on honneamise for winning this month's contest... New Contest here... http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=18879 New Rules... read before you enter... Thanks

5. DO NOT POST YOUR ENTRY... PM ME THE ARTWORK AND I WILL POST A THUMBNAIL OF IT. ARTWORK WILL BE POSTED DURING THE ACTUAL POLL. THANKS Enter a picture of a finished piece of fanart here. A drawing, a model, a custom toy, CG art, sculpture, diorama or whatever you can think of. But it must be a finished piece not a work in progress. You can only enter ONE picture per piece. In the middle of the month we'll have a poll for all entries we can fit in the poll. I'm not sure how many items we can fit in the poll but it's first come first serve. Those that dont make it will be automatically entered for the next month. This must be original art, not a photoshop of some pictures found. Artists can enter themselves or can be nominated. Artists can enter by themselves or as a team. There may be multiple entries from one artist as long it's a different piece of art, not different versions of the same piece. I'm trying to cover everything here, so if I missed something then remind me. This is for pure fun and everyone is invited to enter. No one can ridicule any entries, there will be no critiques because an entry is final once it's posted. Any person found making fun of any entry will be booted from the thread. The winner will have their art or thread linked from the main page, the choice is theirs. So get to it! Let's see what you got! entries should be in by the 15th. We start the poll that day.
6. May 2006 honneamise's 3 Ghosts: there was a thread about this http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...topic=16461&hl= Here's the contest thread: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=18716
7. you just can't start a topic and say think about it... you have to at least put up an argument on why you would think a topic is worthy of discussion, IMO. As for Yamato being successful due to MW, it's probably the same as asking if anime would thrive without US fandom. Or if the international release of a movie is better than just a domestic release. Of course it's always better to get it out to a wider audience. Any fan of Macross or Robotech with an internet connection, looking for info will eventually find their way here. But it may not be enough to make Yamato take business advice from members as some might think. I never once saw a anyone make the suggestion to make a LV2 or a stealth variant, yet they did and we'll all eat it up. Besides, we can't even get each other to agree on one thing much less make an oversea (to us US based snobs) to company to see things our way. Maybe its the other way around, would MW be as successful without Yamato. Sure MW thrived back then, but it seems like its become a whole different site since the 1/48s came out.
8. wasn't it 119? I musta missed the 112 one.
9. that statement would b highly inaccurate, Rohby would neiher be a mom or a pop. Plus it was never said that it was HG that halted that project.
10. Awesome, thanks for putting that up.
11. I thought it was already soapy. Most of the dramas we watch on TV are usually soaps in the guise of action, sci-fi or adventures.
12. Hey, Dave... I forgot who the first one was but Mechamaniac also did it using magnets to put on his glass case... they both used wire hangers to keep the valk connected to the stands... the stands didnt actually hold the valks.
13. sounds good to me... seems more like a prequel.
14. why? are you planning to go back in time?
15. oh yeah, I watch this sometimes... I can't understand a word their saying but they have all these hot chicks in little school girl uniforms... They all have suspenders hanging off to the side... that's so 90's man...
16. I like the way Tommy blames Big West for TokyoPop's inability to publish Macross 7 Trash. Maybe if they kept their crummy paws off the property then BW would be able to do more than just publish comics stateside. They have rights to MacrossSDF TV and DYRL merchandising already, quit being greedy!
17. In... just right now... been trying all day! I got in yesterday though, there were seven users.
18. You'd probably get more help in the Fan Art Section. Or you can try the WANTED section. But I dont think this is a place for this post
19. Yeah Bandai is rereleasing a bunch of SOCs, including the Battleship Yamato. I just want my Voltes V
20. They're clones... with the loss of Bodolza, they could just generate another one.
21. Yes, and since it is...
22. I dont understand watching a movie anticipating that it's gonna be bad. I can see how you would come out of a movie disappointed, but going in thinking it's gonna be bad is just, excuse me... idiotic. Better learn how to spell it first if your gonna try to impress me with big words. The problem with your facetiousness is that you tend to derail threads with it, whether it be about weed, hookers or strippers, sure it seems like harmless fun to you but there's other people on the boards. And who locked what?
23. It doesn't really move as much as he just repositioned it on a longer plank of wood. It may move later but for now it looks like it's not attached yet.
24. I remember watching this as a double feature with a movie called The Gate... and by double feature I mean sneaking in to the other theatre as a kid.
25. No, you're definately not alone. Kevin Smith hamming it up as Silent Bob is a very aggravating and unfunny thing to watch. I would have liked Clerks a lot more if it was a 10 minute short about a girl farting a dead guy in the bathroom of a convenience store. 394300 My favorite is Brody, but I get enough Jason Lee with MY Name Is Earl.
