It turns out I really like this toy! It's so awesome. Nice, simple design. I havent broken any pieces and I've been messing with it for 2 days now. Great size and articulation. A little plasticky, but since it is a toy I guess that would be forgiveable. I thought it was going to be another Escaflowne debacle.

I think the Monster was done because it was taken from the resin kit, which was already done. The Raus were made because they were more concerned with the DYRL line and that was the main enemy robot... and it was tosatisfy people's demand for an enemy toy. Maybe the glaugs and regult were too hard for them to engineer concerning the small legs and the top heavy heads, plus the pilot. That's just my guess.

it's all crappy if it aint macross... The only decent looking one otherwise would be MP Starscream, and that's still Kawamori! Gakken's 1/35 Alpha passes though.

what he said. There's a DYRL fansub thread in the Movies and TV section but members had to have the original or merge the sub themselves. If your friend's project was as extensive and your thread was a little more informational about subbing then maybe it would be a more legit subject. But you just can't post a link to a page with a bunch of unauthorized fansubs. thanks.

more tampo printing a la 1/60 VF-0 no swing bars. I'm down for removeable legs as long as they are connected with a metal bar inbetween and maybe squared off instead of round so it can be stable in battroid. I dont care if there's a swing bar or not, as long as the arms are flush to the legs. no vertical split on the VF-1S head's face and no round peg that you can see thru the VF-1Js optic sensor. in scale GBP armor, the 1/48 must be 1/40 scale, cuz it way too big for that valk Nicely colored FP sets with missiles that dont fall out. Wing missiles that dont fall off too easily.

there's 2 sets of TV hands on that picture. One white and half a set of black hands on the left wing. I think the other half of the black hads is taped to the side underneath the white hands. And no pilot?

I bought that set after someone posted a picture of it with their valks. OK, so I wasn't going to show this off until I was totally done but since you guys are clamoring for it... I've been working on 1/48 characters already... I have a long list of characters that I want to sculpt and most of the main ones in every conceived costume. Here's the first three:
