    I agree with AgentOne. In fact I thought the exact same thing before he replied. It wasn't much of a choice as I understood it from watching the movie. The thread made me want to watch First Blood again, so I fired it up last night... wow, what a classic. It holds up so well. I don't really care about any of the sequels including part II. They're just so far from the original.

    That's the point though. Casting a non-asian is the first part of a long line of "compromises" that will pull it further from the source material. I mean, remember Spielberg produced the Transformers movie and distributed by Dreamworks. I can't wait to see what the tachis are going to look like.

    Seriously? People have doubts that colonknight isn't Masei? The guy started multiple threads here, in the fan art section, in the for sale section and the collectibles section just to sell the helmet. He even sent me a PM. He had to be warned to stop spamming. Plus so far it seems like 100% of the deliveries have been damaged except for his. You guys went after lunar toys over boxes, someone who was straight up about who he was and delivered on time. But you guys are OK when the actual product is damaged? And this is a product that is suppose to protect people's heads. Isn't any one worried about unseen damage. Even if you yourself aren't planning on wearing it, think about your fellow forum friends.

    I think Star Trek is a difficult property to get right... It's stuck between boring, exciting, ridiculous, philosophical, fantasy and sci-fi. Everytime it goes towards one side, fans of the other type start to complain. That's why the original movie series was all over the place with quality. The last movie was really bad though. Even someone like me, who's not a Star Trek fan thought it was way off base with the terrorism and action Spock.

    Chris Beretta did the 1S and 1D, I believe. Rob did the 1J. Fulcy did the fulcy hips... lol.

    Same here... didn't see avatar before last year but I already had started Korra. Avatar is a more cohesive, more solid series, IMO. But Korra is still above grade next to a lot of shows on TV, animated or not.

    We haven't seen the Hi Metal-Rs as a success yet. Let's just see how it goes before taking sides. We don't even know the quality yet. Looking forward to seeing non VF's though, especially the enemy mechs.

    It was 2011 when they said not to worry, that the shipment was just delayed but they were indeed sitting in a boat on a dock in China.

    Please, don't buy these... the pegs on the joints break right into the arms and legs. It's almost impossible to replace with other ball joints. AND you have to buy other ball joints! Even the little one for the stand broke. Toynami uses the cheapest plastics with the cheapest manufacturers... the fit sucks... everything is loose and floppy. I already learned from MPCs but people give me these because they don't know any better. I still have some boxed that I wouldn't sell to my worst enemies. Unless you really want them then send me a PM... lol.

    I liked Pineapple Express, This is The End and even the James Franco Roast on Comedy Central so I'll probably enjoy this... but I'll wait to check it out. I don't really anticipate comedies on the big screen anymore.

    Justin Lin directed the best Community episode ever called 'Modern Warfare' also known as the paintball episode. But then again the best directors that came out of Community are the Russo Brothers. They directed Winter Soldier.

    I think he went full Lucas on Two Towers but there was still remnants of the original intent from the first movie. Anyway. I overstated my self imposed three posts if I didn't like it rule. Don't want to ruin it the thread for everyone else. I'm out!

    Ah. That's where I've seen that name before. And the reviews were great for that line. Gonna have to wait for the reviews for these but they would go great with the Makuros! I'm not that keen on the ones that came with the toy.

    Way better than the vinyls. At least the shoulders are outside the chests. Still not going to take a chance buying Toynami because of quality, unless I hear that Oritoys uses different manufacturers from actual Toynamis.
