I suggest having a translator for interesting articles from Hobby Japan and Dengeki Hobby. I was gonna do the same for a site I had up a while back but a bad case of lethargy overcame me.

I actually don't care as long as it has to do with macross... sometimes I think that if we're too strict then people will stop posting other regular stuff. A lot retailers use to post here as regular members also, but that's just about gone. Maybe if people would stop playing mini mods... I think that's about as equally annoying.

DYRL was first a movie version of the series. But in Macross 7, it was mentioned that DYRL was actually a movie "based on the actual Space War One" events that was the original series. So if you lived in the SDF: MACROSS / Macross 7 universe, then DYRL is just a movie with actors that looked incredibly like the actual persons were depicted.

There's a new figure line that Max Factory is releasing, it looks pretty good. So far its been mostly female figures though I have seen one male figure in a sute, but I wouldn't mind seeing a Macross line from those guys. http://www.figma.jp/index.html

They just do that type thing because they probably think the majority of the readers only know of robotech, which is probably true. Oh geez that's just silly, haha. I agree about #1 and #2 though... Prime ranks as my Number 1 toy made of all time and I hate TFs. And that Spider-Man is plain kickass. #2 for me is the 1/48 though.

The CMs figures are the closest Yamato is gonna get to doing an action figure line. Remember they even had series 2 on their website, plus Max and Millia for the Q-Rau were done by CMs. Kinda sucks that they gave the Scopedog line the better treatment but in any case, Yamato figures suck. Every figure I've had from them has fallen apart, including my Appleseed Deunan and Briarios. Plus Yamato figures are super expensive. $30 for the Scopedog $25 for the Appleseed. The articulations on those Freulin Revoltech suck... Those photos are pretty much the best poses your gonna get out of them. Specially around the hip joint. I rather get something like a microman type figure.

proportions? have you even read the manga? haha... looks cool. I wonder how sturdy it is... The stupid Rei figure that came with a manga fell apart everytime you posed it. Shoulda just waited for the microman versions.

The last reissue had crooked skulls. And it would probably cost them more to make new boxes when they're just trying to squeeze blood out of a dying line. I hope they keep reissuing them though, so we'll find some in clearance before they start going up again.
