I'm so glad they reissued these. I was so obsessed with getting these during the 90s especially before Ebay. I remember going to the LA SciFi convention every month just to look at them and the Gold book. Best toy ever.

I bought one of these last week. Even though I like the quality and the old skool lineart look, I'll prolly jut stick to one... I can't imagine having an army of these. Collecting each 1/48s and bigger 1/60s is hard enough. maybe if they were $5 each.

If put into the valks that they can excel the most in and put up against each other... Max would kick everyone's ass hands down... and not one on one either. All of them at the same time. even in a Qrau Max would wipe everyone out. One on one he'd still win hands down. Max and Millia together would be a slaughter.

you can just completely remove the black space on the top layer in photoshop. But the lighting would still be wrong. The Earth and moon is backlit by the sun while the ships are front lit. You'd have to darken certain part of the ships to make it work and since the sun is directly behind them the angles of the shadows would be different. And it looks like you pasted the ships over and over but the perspective is all over. Even though they're in space they would all still be heading in the same direction so they should all still line up. Finally, if you have bigger versions of thos ships, I' say don't be afraid to break one or two in the foreground. Have them coming in from the left and maybe even have a couple of tiny ones going in behind the earth just to show how big the fleet is.

Don't get me wrong. I didn't say don't do it. I'm just saying make something worth it before asking for comments... I don't care if you take graphics from anywhere else... I realize its for fun. I happen to enjoy the Robocop vs. Terminator stuff on youtube for what it is. But the fact is, they did it and just posted it up without waiting for feedback. Just do it, make it fun and don't worry about anyone else... I'm only saying it sucks cuz you asked otherwise I would have been OK just clicking on the thread without commenting on it. new season is so subpar. Each episode last year use to give me the chills. Peter having to work for that Irish gang with the forced accents is way lame. He can rob an armor vehicle but not a box from some petty crooks. Hiro's girl is the loviest girl in medieval Japan? They must have been hurting back then. No... I wouldnt rather see your art. I just dont see what commotion you're trying to stir... you wan't opinions based on one page of crap. I think you asked for opinions when you had nothing to get excited about just yet. I don't care of you stole the pics or whatever... I knew it was scanner darkly and assumed everyone else did. But if you can pull off something macross-like with a decent story then more power to you... But as of now... it's bad... really really bad... It's derivative, unoriginal and totally not artistic. I was gonna wait and see but since you asked... it totally blows. I bet after a few more tries the rest of this is never gonna see the light of day...
