  2. I doubt it's the same scale. It's not the same body style.
  3. They should redo it. Even the creators weren't satisfied with it. Just use the same soundtrack, same dialogue tracks, same designs. It'll introduce new viewrs to Macross which would mean more toys! And of course I'll enjoy the fact that your colletictive little girly childhoods have been sodomized.
  4. Awww man! I just put away all my Chun Li figures. Now I might have to get this one..
  5. hehe... wtf?
  6. EXO

    Every single 1/48

    buy it!
  7. Aoshima does that all the time. They released the Aliens drop ship and the power loader as toy versions of the old Halycon kits. Great quality though. I love my drop ships. I'm tempted to get their power loader but I got the giant Hot Toys version instead.
  8. Oh great... now even he n00bs now know to blame me... I always wonder how that started... I'll find the guy and pound him. I'm gonna be blamed for it anyway. As for the new members, we really got a good new batch of regular posters. Not gonna name names cuz I don't want to leave anyone out but it's fun reading the threads once again. Not to mention all the exciting things happening with the new toys, new customs, scratch builds and all that. It's a good time to be a Macross fan. With all the Mospeada stuff happening, it's a great time to be a Robotech fan. I kinda hope someone would pick up the Southern Cross mantle. Heck, we got new Megazone and Orguss stuff before SX stuff. If you guys get a chance, come out to the MWCon and SDCC this year. It's gonna be a great year guaranteed. Hell, even Graham should come out foe this one. Bring some potos of the new 1/60s with him. Anyway, props to Hurin, Mechamaniac for upkeeping of the main site. Hopefully we can add more stuff. And props to the other mods that keep the site in such great order. And of course the new and long time members that truly keep the site alive. Happy quarter of a century to Macross (belated) I'm looking forward to 25 more years of being broke.
  9. thanks for all the info Shun! So man I gotta get my boys in Japan get me the accessories huh? cool!
  10. Our great abs. They make those Spartans look like 300 couch potatoes! THIS IS MW MODERATAAAAA!!! Everyone knows what I think of Toynami stuff. I bought the first MPC and was so excited when it finally arrived only to be instantly disppointed. I never got any of the others except for the Ben Dixon which we won at a raffle. I gave my nephew the ticket and it was handed to him by Rick Hunter himself, Tony Oliver. But I know that toy wouldn't last in the hands of my nephew. I bought the Alphas, after getting a decent blue one I got the rest and was disappointed more and more as I got each one. I swore off any Toynami products but I got to see the Voltron which is actually good, so I bought it off someone here, loose - no box. as for the 1/100 I was given one for my bday but I never took it out. I'm not impressed by it. But I'm glad everyone is posting their first hand basis of their Toynami experience. Again and again some Toynami fan retard comes on and accuses us of being biased against HG and Toynami. Crap... if Toynami made anything better than the 1/48 or if HG made anything like Macross Frontier instead of that Chronicles BS... then yeah I'd be waving their flag too. Why would I be opposed to good quality products? We Todd did!
  11. what custom titles? no such thing... you have to make over 8k posts and maybe you might get mine... just maybe...
  12. not so good news: http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-50676-1-1.html In other news:
  13. Sales... lots of freakin sales!
  14. Yeah, it looks more like a blowout than a retaliation... HD-DVD = going bye bye!
  15. Was there any mangas or books produced? Sounds interesting.
  16. The bigger destroids are exactly 1/60 scale. I inputed the height into a scale converter and was suprised by the discovery.
  17. his photo was flipped for the layout. good observation though.
  18. I'm so sold on these... almost. haha. But I want them... and the probably the CMs too if they're not too exclusive like those fugly legioss/treads.
  19. hmmm... I'm pretty sure I would have used correct grammar though...
  20. hey there is already thread on this other forum.
  21. Actually I've seen them do it a couple of times. The Appleseed Landmates and Blade of the Immortal Stautes were displayed at SDCC. I even have pictures and then they were never sold.
  22. It's less about sewing and more about making some armor. And if you look at the armor they're not that articulation friendly... a lot of those designs. There's a lot where fabric becomes armor and vica versa, just look at Millia's DYRL meltrandi flight suit. The red stripes come from the shoulder armor and meld into her body suit. Even the TV series UN Spacy flight suit is hard to make. The jumpsuit goes right into the boots... not that impossible to make as a costume but a nightmare at 1/6th scale. I would love to make TV Zentradi figures but the process would be too hard and at the end it would end up just standing there like a statue. Good references would be Hot Toys Btaman Begins or their Appleseed figures where the rubber costumes are molded right onto the bodies. Another thing, if you're thinking about the ship uniforms they use where it's just boots, that would be kinda boring as I'd rather have the pilot uniforms for the Zaentradi. But scales of these figures suck too. They're all 12" bodies. So you can't really make a Breetai and an Exedol along with regular soldiers. Again I rather have the armored Zents rather than in cloth uniforms.
  23. Aoshima makes good on their Aliens toys... I'm pretty happy with them and I'm shocked that they would get into bed with Toynami. I wouldn't put one penny into a Beta, I think by now I've learned my lesson. If not then I'm the idiot.
  24. Thanks DnD... man... I was already scared of the flourecent bulb I had in my room yellowing my valks but that link made me go out and buy a regular bulb. I didnt want the flourecent bulb there permanently but I kept putting off buying standard light bulbs. Theregulr ones keep blowing though... about every 3 months and I know the flourescent ones last longer, use up less power and are brighter, but I can't use them due to having toys around... sucks.
  25. I just find it funny that first jenius says that Lynx is "behind the times" because of said "report" about misconceptions. Meaning we should take my quote to be facts right? If your setting a misconception straight then it's followed up by facts... I'm to assume. Then the new "report" is that Aoshima might be responsible for the screw up? Be it taken as fact or not it's still a bit propagandaish saying that this info might be from a mod or someone that has communication to Toynami. It's just hilarious that after all the lame results that Toynami achieves, we're still suppose to eat this type of reporting... Am I suppose to feel safe that Toynami will completely handle the production of the Betas and hand it to those inept Aoshima nimwits? Does anyone here feel any better now that we're being told this? I'm so glad we have a line between here and RT.com... because we're all too dumb to go there ourselves. It reminds me of an old web adage... DO NOT WANT!
