    So what does that complaint accomplish? That we complain too much? I like the look of the Toynami Alpha. It's the fit and the breakage I hate... which would be a major complaint for any transforming toy.

    These sculpts look awesoe especially Scud. I'm interested in these do your own figures. Will I be able to make Macross action figures? All I really need are the joints. EDIT: nevermind... I just saw that they were minifigs! oh well.

    Exposed screws never bothered me. As a kid I used to delight in the fact that the japanese toys let me take apart their toys and check out the engineering. even when I didn't need to fix it , I'd take it apart just to see how it moves. I keep teetering back and forth on these. I went to Frank and Sons to see if they had it only to find other MWers looking for them, haha.

    i have that same figure. Cain is barebones badassery! I remember we had a thread because someone wanted to commission Captain America to make one... I wish Hot Toys would make one also.

    Zentrans in 1/60 scale would be as big as the figures in the CMs line. Hence the Miria in the Q-rau suit. Actually it's not overkill since the soldier versions of the Zetrans can stand toe to toe against a VF-1, so they're pretty much dwarfed when going up against a Regult, Glaug, Q-raus and N-Gers.

    it's not just a toy. It's a $250 dollar toy that I've dreamed about owning. But in my dreams it looked a lot better and costs a lot less. I'd buy a Legioss and the Tread for that much, but not with so many compromises. I'd figure it should equal at least 2 1/48s, size and lookwise. And it's neither!
