The weathering on the LV1 is so crappy you can take it off with rubbing alcohol. Bad stuff.

Found some extra BP-8s that I bought in a panic. I don't think I need these. These are color matched for the earlier valks... Max and Miria. Hikaru 1J and DYRL valks. these are the regular resin not the unpainted stronger ones. They work pretty well. I only had to switch out one and havent had any trouble with my other 1/48s. Let me know. $8 shipped anywhere continental US. Anywhere else is extra.

slight action poses... that's what I mean. Like the Gakken could stand on its own because it wasn't so poseable. But of course if I'm wrong I'm not gonna complain... why not have the best of both worlds? Hey Alex how about some pics of it in poses? Based on your review I'm gonna end up getting these.

I dont think its possible to make a really poseable ride armor and have it stand on its own. It's so top heavy that most poses are going to be unstable. I don't think balance is a good standard for grading.

The best thing is to look back at this thread and see how insightful I am...

I don't think the CMs scaled up would look good as you think. It looks good for it's size but any bigger there'll be parts that look really weird.

I don't know how they decide everything else but the hero (Hikaru) of the story almost always get the mostly red/sometimes white/blue w yellow accents combo (superman, optimus prime, etc) Roy gets the dark brooding colors, max gets the cooler colors and of course kakizaki gets the CF colors. But it's mostly done to make the character recognizable and not a military scheme type thing just like the stripes on the valks don't really mean anything.

These seem a lot bigger than Revoltech, so it'll be on a whole different market. Probably way more expensive. I hope the quality is good as my Appleseed figures sucked big time. But I think they just distributed that for Alpha. If they're making these themselves I'll expect more from them.
