  1. Since we're talking rumors, did anyone mention that Frank Miller gave 300 director, Zack Snyder, blessings to do the Dark Knight Returns movie at comicon?
  2. yes.
  3. wow... some shots look like CG!
  4. Oh so that wasn't He-Man that was available at SDCC but King Grayskull. Awesome, I wanted a more faithful sculpt to the OG He-Man and it looks like we're getting it. No I want a He-Man and Battlecat so bad!
  5. you're forgiven...
  6. I honestly think that they're pretty f'd as far as the joker, cuz anyone else who tries to ape that performance will look like he's trying too hard. And if they go with a new take on Joker, it'll be too inconsisent. I think they need to let Joker go unless Nolan is still directing Batman movies after 5 other sequels.
  7. Welcome to MW you guys! Oh yeah, no pics in sigs... no matter how cute it is...
  8. Didn't the VF-0 actually have swing bars and yet yamato went for the small arm in the middle? It seemed like a weird choice but it worked out. I still feel like aesthetically this version of the VF-25 look a little bit on the meek side. I'm not trying to flame the situation with the other guy... Just an overall observation of the toy.
  9. plus, not to mention I went to school for mechanical engineering, drafting, product rendering, fine art and art history. haha!
  10. I see what you're saying. I was trying to answer Pochimus based on his private dilemma. but yeah... if you're jumping on the band wagon now, by all means start on the new 1/60s. But if there's anyway you have the cash to get all the 1/48s... good luck and get them. Unless there's a 1/48 v2.0 coming up!
  11. Is there a seperate thread for comparing the two? I feel like the 1/48s have a different type of customers base, unless it's someone that would buy both, like me. But I'm totally fond of the 1/48s due to the larger scale. I don't think that the 1/60s made it obsolete as much as I think that they've just exhausted it as much as they can. The only scheme that I feel they can do after the Max is the Kakizaki TV-1A, if they decide they can even sell it. If I had to choose I'd always buy the 1/48s. But luckily I dn't have to choose and they added enough features on the 1/60s for me to want to buy them... mostly the tampo printing and the promise of having a complete line this time.
  12. Depending on the price your talking about, I'd go for the 1/48. I would think that the 1/60 version will be more available later on if you decide to switch, though the 1/60 strike is sold out for now. Every time I see a 1/48 for sale I feel like buying it, even though I got doubles of everything. It's like my Catcher In the Rye from Conspiracy Theory.
  13. WOW, now there's an unbiased party to the rescue!
  14. Actually it was me that was trying to share my views and it was you that try to discount it by saying that we're all whiners and Bandai doesn't warrant critism. Then you go on about how you have better uderstanding of toys than anyone else as if we've never seen or invested money on them before. Then you called me a dick... haha... fail on all sides there.
  15. that's what she said...
  16. try again... he was talking about the Beagle Mospeada head. The Robotech Version is based on the updated look according to the video.
  17. As long as there's a Journey song at the end...I'm sold... but then again it'll be Journey-lite not the real Journey. (can journey get any liter?)
  18. It's the same reissue with minor differences. Hikaru's 1J will have a heatshield and there's going to be a never released Max DYRL 1A with FPs all in new packaging. The new heads and the 1D are for a speculated Robotech version of the line to be distributed by Toynami.
  19. Yeah, and he's a really large man named Butch with a godzilla tattoo somewhere on him.
  20. It's such a beautiful project, PM me your address and I'll send you 2 sets... all other PMs will be laughed at! As for recasting, it's too late, you already glued and puttied some parts. You needed to make the holes for the joints and all your customizations before you made the other parts unrecastable... but so what? You'll have an awesome one of a kind revoltech valk!!!
  21. the video said their Beagle will be out by Xmas. I think I'm gonna get the Japanese version for that type of head... might pick up the Masterpiece if I'm happy with it.
  22. hmmm that's weird.. the curl on his forehead points differently... those japanese bastids are so backwards... haha.
  23. the beagle comes with a swappable head... helmet and w/out helmet. but I don't think people caught that until I posted the Toynami display in the SDCC thread.
  24. EXO

    Thunder Hammer

yeah... uhmmm... that's not how it comes... so don't even think about sending me those angry PMs.... I get enough of those for being an a-hole...
